It is certified that Dr. SAYED ARIF HUSSAIN s/o SAYED AMAL HUSSAIN has worked as a Trainee General
surgeon in the department of general Surgery Unit-1 in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad
from 01/01/2016 to 31/12/2019. Then he join me as a senior registrar in surgery department Quaid e Azam
International Hospital Islamabad for further learning endocrine surgeries and trained under my own supervision.
Dr. Sayed Arif Hussain in the 03 years that he was working with me. As a general surgeon his duties included
the pre-Operative, operative and post operative patient care and emergency management of patients reporting in
the emergency department.
He assisted me in number of Operative procedures performed by me and have done many procedures in my
supervision and independently.
He gained the expertise in performing laparoscopic surgeries such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy,
laparoscopic appendectomy, laparoscopic colorectal surgeries, thyroidectomy, adrenalectomy,
parathyroidectomy and vascular surgeries.
To gain diagnostic skills, he was also made to work under my supervision in the OPD.
He has been actively participating in meetings, seminars, case presentations and other associated academic
activities.
Dr. Sayed Arif Hussain proved on all occasions that he was capable, responsible and hardworking. He
performed his duties efficiently and demonstrated a zeal and passion for his work that was exemplary. He will be
an asset to any institutien that he joins. I wish him great success in future.
