HOLI FESTIVAL

The Holi festival is one of the most famous festivals in India and Nepal, it

celebrates the beginning of spring and represents good triumphing over evil, this is

celebrated for two days. This festival has its origin from the legend of Krishna and

Radha that of Prahlada and Holika. People sing and dance, some play drums and

dholak. After each colorful fun and game stop, people offer gujiya, mathri, malpas

and other traditional delicacies. Cold drinks, including drinks made with marijuana,

are also part of the Holi festival. We will explain the origin, history, traditions, rituals

and meaning of the Holi festival.

The Holi festival is one of the most famous festivals in India and Nepal, this

traditions. People celebrate Holi with lots of music, singing, lighting bonefires or

candles, throwing colorful dyes at each other and giving each other gifts, especially

sweets and colorful flowers, The groups sing and danve, some play drums and
dholak. After each colorful fun and play stop, people offer gujiya, mathri, malpas
