Case Study Deadline: October 29th @ 8:30AM IST (no extensions will be granted).
Groups: Groups of 5 members as decided by PGP Office.
Peer Evaluation: Fill out the enclosed peer evaluation form, and submit separately in
class, at the end of the case study submission deadline.
Case Study Deliverables:
One professionally written case study report per group, inclusive of the following:
1. A cover page, with project title, names of team members, etc.
2. One-page executive summary, highlighting main features of your analysis, modeling, and
comments on results obtained.
3. Main case study report, not exceeding fifteen one-sided pages, including a succinct
understanding of the problem, regression models, graphical representations (residual plots,
P-P plots, etc.), results, and conclusions. Specific recommendations for the different
questions listed below must also be included in the report. Total case study report not to
exceed twenty-five one-sided pages.
4. Put all your case study material (including case study report, MS Excel/JASP files, and any
other supplementary files) into a “Group #.zip” folder and submit on the course website
(Moodle) before the deadline. The system will not accept late submissions and no
submissions will be accepted over email, late or otherwise. One soft copy submission per
group is required.

deadline.
Case Study Questions
In your case analysis, you are required to address the questions below. Clearly show all your
workings clearly. Note that these questions are to be used as “pointers” for your analysis, and do
not capture all the requirements. These are necessary but not sufficient conditions, and projects
that go above and beyond these minimum requirements will receive extra credit.
1. Is there a significant difference between metropolitan versus non-metropolitan branches with
regards to various parameters? What conclusions are obtained from your analyses?
2. You are required to build a multiple linear regression model that predicts customer
satisfaction with service quality (“cserq”) with “ecuso, equal, and einvol” as the predictor
variables. What do you conclude? Conduct appropriate hypothesis tests to improve the
model and state your findings.
3. Using all given data, develop comprehensive regression model(s), perform all diagnostic
tests, and suggest the final model to be used. Your analysis should include creation of
interaction variables, variable transformations (if required), and satisfy all regression
assumptions.
4. Using your model, state your findings on the relationship between: (i) employee satisfaction
and customer satisfaction; (ii) impact of interactions between branch employees and
customers; (iii) other relevant insights between variables.
