Coaching Agreements and Logistics

xxx, I am delighted to be your coach and look forward to our working together! On a business
note, I have some policies and procedures I want you to be familiar with. Please return this
signed agreement to me.
Commitment
You are hiring me as your coach because you want to learn more about yourself, grow and
make changes. These changes will sometimes happen fast and sometimes not. Because
change happens over time, I am requesting a minimum of a 3-months or 6-sessions
commitment to the coaching process. This allows the coaching relationship to develop and be
powerful, and when the going gets tough we stay in collaboration and work through to the
other side. Following our initial conversations, the specific request is to accompany you
through your Co-Active certification journey for a total of eight 1-hour sessions.
If during this phase there occurs any reason to change our agreement, my request is that we
designate a time during which we will look at the issue(s) and create a mutual resolution that
honors client, coach and the coaching relationship. After the initial period, we review and
decide whether to complete or continue the coaching.

Confidentiality
Any information provided to me will be kept confidential unless applicable law dictates
otherwise. I request that I may mention that you are a client and log our coaching hours, as
required for professional accreditation with the International Coach Federation. You are free
to share whatever you choose from our work with anyone.
Services
The services to be provided by me is coaching or tele-coaching, as designed jointly. We may
address specific projects, leadership development, personal growth, business successes, or
general conditions in your life or profession. None of our work together is to be construed or
considered as psychological counselling or therapy.
Guarantees
As your coach, I cannot guarantee results. You remain responsible for your own decisions,
actions, and their outcome. You will create powerful results by having the courage and

determination to decide for yourself the action and decisions you want to manifest in your
life. My duty is to provide reasonable means to support your growth and development.
Procedure
We will meet on the telephone, virtually or in person, as agreed upfront. When we meet on
the telephone, you will call me at the agreed time, on my landline (+32 497 579162), for
virtual meetings, I will set up Zoom details.
Time
In honour of our commitment, we will begin and end our sessions on time. Our agreement
includes sessions of xy minutes. Please be punctual. We will schedule around holidays and
other periods of absence.
Scheduling changes
If sessions need to be rescheduled, apart from emergencies or sudden illness, 48 hours’ notice
is required on either side. Rescheduled calls need to be made within the same calendar month.
Missing an appointment without 48-hours’ notice is considered a paid appointment.
Fees
The total for the xxx (x) coaching sessions is EURO xxx,- excluding VAT. As per our
conversation, I will invoice half upfront and half mid-way through the coaching engagement.
In-Between Sessions
If you would like to share a success or a problem with me at non-coaching times you may
contact me via e-mail or sms / WhatsApp. If there is a need to hold an extra-ordinary phone
session, we will either treat it as an ad hoc telephone conversation (up to 15 minutes), an
additional session in the cycle or shift the date of the successive session, as circumstances
dictate that month.
Completing our relationship
We agree to provide each other with a three-week notice period in the event either of us
wishes to end our coaching relationship. This will give us time to capture your learning and
strategize for what is next as you move on.
Issues
The coaching relationship will be based on open, honest, and trusting communication; this
will grant the relationship the power it requires to be successful. To achieve this, it is vital that
problems and issues are raised and resolved as soon as possible.
If I ever say or do something that upsets you or doesn’t feel right, please bring it to my
attention. I promise we will work to strengthen our relationship, and re-design it as we go
along, so that it supports your growth and objectives as fully as possible.

Training
I am a Master Certified Coach (MCC) by the International Coaching Federation and abide by
their code of conduct. I am also a certified, professional coach, trained and qualified (CPCC)
through the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI, [Link]), where I am also a
senior faculty member. I have continuously developed my competencies since my first coach
training in 2002 and accumulated over 1000 hours of coach training in various disciplines, for
example Organisations and Systems Coaching, Team Coaching and Leadership Coaching. I
have an international background and expertise in coaching, leadership, gender balance,
working in diverse cultural settings and communications.
I hereby agree to accept the conditions as stated above.
