1.0 Objectives of the Course
From time immemorial individual's quest for property is well documented. Every legal system has
imbibed in itself laws relating - acquisition, sale, transfer and mortgage of property, so that individual
can enjoy his property without resorting to violent- self-defence. In India the Transfer of Property Act,
1882, regulates a range of transactions relating to property. Therefore, the present course is designed to
enable the students to take up professional practice in the field of Property law.
