Tenses: Present Continuous

Present Continuous is used

 For an action going on at the time of speaking as;
She is singing.
The boys are playing hockey.
 For temporary actions which are may not be actually happening at the time of
speaking as;
I am reading a novel.
 For an action that has already arranged to take place in the near future as;
I am going to Cinema tonight.
My uncle arriving tomorrow.

Formation
Active voice--Subject + helping verb + object.
E.g. He is writing an essay. Pakistan is facing economic crisis.
Passive voice—object + helping verb + being + v (3rd form) + by + subject.
E.g. Football is being played by them. Terrorists are being killed by military.

Interrogative:
Active Passive
Formation—Helping verb + S + v(ing form) + Formation— helping verb + O + being + V (3rd
O? form) + by + S?
E.g. Is he teaching an essay? Is an organization being run by Him?

Negative:
Active Passive

Formation—S + helping verb + not + v(ing Formation— O + helping verb + not + being + V
form) + O? (3rd form) + by + S.
E.g. He is not teaching an essay. An organization is not being run by Him.
