ACTIVITY:
Directions: Arrange the following steps in chronological order. Number
the sentences according to the proper sequence of cleaning and
lubrication.
FACE PLATE (presser bar, needle bar, thread take up lever, lifter).
____ A. Put back the Face Plate in place.
____ B. Unscrew face plate and keep it in the drawer while cleaning.
____ C. Brush dust away then put a little amount of oil while rotating the
balance wheel to inner parts can be accessed.
UPPER TENSION (disc spring and dial)
____ A. Assemble by following the laid parts in your table.
____ B. Brush dust and wipe with absorbent cloth with oil
____ C. Remove outer bolt, tension dial, discs and disc spring.
