Duties and Responsibilities:


➢ Laboratory Staff & Record management.
➢ Sampling and testing of Construction Materials
➢ Performing various tests soil and concrete in accordance with (ASTM and AASHTO
Standard Method).
➢ Independently handling of all Tests and report.
➢ Coordination with contractor and client.
➢ Testing of Material according accredited procedure or client requirement
➢ Perform soil sampling and study of engineering and physical properties of soils by
conducting tests like Sieve analysis, Plasticity Index, California Bearing Ratio, and
Proctor, Swelling properties for suitability to be used for construction of road
project.
➢ Recommendations of source rocks for coarse and fine aggregates and supervise tests
(Gradation, Specific gravity, Los Angeles abrasion test, Soundness test) to declare
suitability for use as Water Bound Macadam, concrete and asphalt aggregates.
➢ Preparation of concrete mix design and Job mix formula (JMF).
➢ To determine the safest, highest quality and cost effective structures for the project.

➢ Supervision at drilling of boreholes for pile construction, pile load testing and
preparation of pile reports.
