IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE IN THE
FEDERAL PUBLIC SERVICE: THE CONSOLIDATED MEDICAL SALARY
STRUCTURE (CONMESS)
Consequent upon the enactment of the National Minimum Wage
(Amendment) Act 2019, and the negotiations between the Federal Government
of Nigeria and Organised Labour (represented by the Joint National Public
Service Negotiating Council) in respect of the consequential adjustments of |,
salaries of employees in the Federal Public Service, the President of the Federal Continuation
Republic of Nigeria has approved the revision of the Consolidated Medical Salary
Structure (CONMESS), with effect from the 18" of April 2019.
2. The new salary table is attached herewith.
3. This circular supersedes Circular No. SWC/S/04/S.218/215 dated 21*
September 2017.
