Red Hat Classroom Installation
Pre-Installation
Insert the pen drive into a USB port on your computer.
Turn on your computer by pressing power button.
Immediately when a computer is starting up, you have to access the boot menu by
pressing one of several keyboard keys. Common keys for accessing the boot menu are
Esc, F2, F10 or F12, depending on the manufacturer of the computer or motherboard.
The specific key to press is usually specified on the computer's startup screen or you
can Google it if you don’t know the key by providing manufacturer information. Such as
Boot menu key for DELL, HP, LENOVO etc.
After accessing boot menu it will show boot device selection menu for the computer to
boot from, Select the option that boots computer from the USB drive and Setup will
starts.
USB will prepare to load necessary files for the installation and asks you to select
installation type in the sequence, Please select foundation0 from the sequence and
press enter (Or else Just type f0 and press enter ),
Installation
Select Language : English ( United States )
You may need to select the Date and Time location (Mumbai Kolkata ) and Installation
destination ( Automatic Configure Partition), Installation will automatically do this
selection in generally by default .
Now you will see screen that starts the installation process of classroom environment.
Post-Installation
After the installation completes computer will restart automatically and enters in console
mode ( in some case you might need to remove the USB from your computer if the
computer restart goes in installation mode otherwise no need of removing USB keep it
inserted )
Go to the terminal (re-attach the pen drive if it has removed previously Or else no
insertion will required as it is already attached)
Type SU in your terminal to gain root privileges in the shell ( Password : Asimov )
Add Course
Adding a course files to foundation0 from USB
Make Sure USB is Connected to Bring Course Files from USB to PC
SA1 Course
$ rht-usb courseusb RH124-RHEL70-1.r24927-ILT-7-en_US.icmf
Type RH124 and Press TAB
wait for copy-course content to complete,( 100 % )
SA2 Course
$ rht-usb courseusb RH134-RHEL70-1.r24927-ILT-7-en_US.icmf
Type RH134 and Press TAB
wait for copy-course content to complete, ( 100 % )
SA3 Course
$ rht-usb courseusb RH254-RHEL70-1.r24927-ILT-7-en_US.icmf
Type RH254 and Press TAB
wait for copy-course content to complete, ( 100 % )
Set Course
SA1
$ rht-setcourse rh124
SA2
$ rht-setcourse rh134
SA3
$ rht-setcourse rh254
Check Foundation0
Verification to ensure proper completed installation with required course set.
$ rht-verify-f0
Start Virtual Machines
Start all virtual machines by physical console or in terminal emulator.
Server
$ rht-vmctl start server
$ rht-vmctl view server

Desktop
$ rht-vmctl start desktop
$ rht-vmctl view desktop

Go to Server Machine
Execute ping command as ping [Link],
You should get ping reply from target server as success ping result.
