Lifestyle : Is a way of life of a perso.

It is how a person lives and the type of


foods a person eat as well as the activities that a person does.

There are good and bad lifestyles.

Good / Healthy lifestyle :

> Doing exercise


> Riding a bike around the town
> Eating healthy food
> Not eating sweets
> Eating fruits and vegetables
> Avoiding alcoholic drinks
> Not smoking
> Not going on a party late at night

Bad / Unhealthy lifestyle :

> Avoiding fruits and vegetables


> Eating fatty food
> Staying up late
> Drinking carbonated drinks
> Playing too much computer
> Drinking alcohol
> Smoking
> Not sleeping 7-8 hours a day
> Not drinking a lot of water

Case : Some people nowadays are they incapable of resting properly because of the
responsibilities they have at work. Sometimes, students also experience these
incapability of resting well. They say that it's understandable and it is okay
because it is for the sake of having a brighter future. To what extent do you agree
with the statement?

Health vs Fitness vs Wellness

Health is the state of the physical and mental wellness of a person. It means that
a person is healthy if that person is not physically sick and if that person is not
stressed or having emotional or psychological prblems.

Fitness is the physical state of a person. A person is fit if he can do some


physical activities without problem

Active Lifestyle : refers to a lifestyle that involves doing physical activity like
exercising, doing sports, and others in which it enables the person to become more
physically active.
Sedentary Lifestyle : refers to a lifestyle that is mostly inactive wherein a
person spends most of his time sitting or lying down. This refers to people who
most of time, do not involve themselves into physical activities pershaps because
of work or personal choice.

Question : What are the advantages and disadvantages of having an active lifestyle?

There are a couple of benefits and some unfavorable factors towards being a
physically active person. It is generally quite beneficial to our well-being if we
engage into activities that enable us to work our whole body in order to burn
excess fat and consequently (hậu quả là) become fitter. With this, we can avoid
diabetese, hypertension (tăng huyết áp), and perhaps cancer because one key towards
avoiding critical illnesess (bệnh hiểm ngheo) is ensuring that we are at the most
desirable (mong muốn) weight paired with good physical activities in order to
activate the circulation (vòng tuần hoàn)of our blood and activate our whole body
in battling possible infections (sự nhiễm trùng) because our immune system becomes
stronger as we work out. Perhaps, some bad points towards exercising is just marely
about the fact that it lessens the time that we spend with the people who are
important to us. Sometimes, when people become very health conscious, they tend to
distance themselves to their friends or family. Also, over-exercising may lead to
some muscle spasms (co thắt) or fatigue. Thus, it is essential to have proper rest
and avoid overexerting (quá sức) our body. Hence, those are the evident good things
as well as possible disadvantageous effects of physically active.
