The Resurrection of the dead is real

Youths, let us have this truth in our hearts

while studying the holy scriptures that it is
true that there is a resurrection of the dead.
When we read in the book Luke 20:37 to 40
we see that the Sadducees did not believe in
the resurrection of the dead, but when we
look there we see Jesus teaching the
Sadducees that the resurrection of the dead
exists. Jesus made it clear that there is no
marriage in heaven, marriage is done here
on earth because this is done by physical
bodies. Jesus also revealed that in heaven
we will be wearing the bodies of the Spirit,
for the bible says:

Luke 20:35-36 ...the resurrection from the

dead, neither marry, nor are given in
marriage:Neither can they die any more: for
they are equal unto the angels.....

So the spirit inside our bodies must be able

to control the bad things our bodies expect,
so that our souls can go to heaven.
The word of God continues to wake us up so
that we do not lose our hope that if a person
dies he will be resurrected 1 corinthians 15:
21,23,35,37_40,42_44 Apostle Paul shows us
the beginning of death in Adam and the
beginning of the resurrection of the dead in
Jesus Christ. This verse reveals the reason
why we strive to do good is that we will be
resurrected to eternal life together with all
those who died before us in Christ. The word
says:

1 Corinthians 15:35-36 But some man will

say, How are the dead raised up? and with
what body do they come?Thou fool, that
which thou sowest is not quickened, except
it die:

Paul compares the death of a person to a

seed that is thrown into the ground to die
and rot so that it can grow and produce its
own fruit. Likewise, my brothers and sisters,
know this thing that the death of a person is
not God's cruelty, but it is the right way that
makes our good deeds bring us a reward.

If we continue to read the bible at

1corinthians 15:48_52
Apostle Paul continues to make it clear that
flesh and blood will not enter heaven but our
soul, so let us know that when we do good it
is not for our bodies but for the spirit that
lives in us so that when we leave the body
we can find a place in the kingdom of God.
The word say;

Corrinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the

twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed.

Youths, the message we continue to convey

to us is that all those who died before we
were born and those who will die in our days
and those who will die after we leave this
world will be resurrected when the trumpet
sounds. So let's stand on the word of God
and accept that this is what will happen, that
is faith, our God does not lie, he says that I
have kept my word to fulfill it.

It is important that we continue to seek

knowledge so that our crying will subside
when we are struck by God's act of death. 1
Thessalonians 4:13_18 Paul also
encourages us not to be ignorant of what we
should know about death.
The truth is that knowing about the dead is
not worshiping the dead like other people
who practice witchcraft, but this knowledge
from God makes us less distressed when
such things happen among us. Because the
word of God says:

_1Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have

you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope.

So we should not cut ourselves off like

some pessimists who think that death is
destruction.

John was also shown what happens when a

person dies in the mysteries of God;
Revelation 20:11,12,15. John was shown
God's white throne of judgment, this gives us
a sign that when a person leaves this world,
he will be judged according to his works. So I
agree that the time that we have on earth
does not need to be wasted because when
we leave here judgment will be waiting for
us. The Bible says

Revelation 20:12-13 And I saw the dead,

small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened:
and another book was opened, which is the
book of life: and the dead were judged out of
those things which were written in the
books, according to their [Link] the sea
gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and hell delivered up the dead which were in
them: and they were judged every man
according to their works.

The word of reveals again that it is not only

adults who will stand at the judgment seat
but all and the little ones as well. This alone
tells us that the youths should not be
careless because judgment is waiting for the
young and the old. We have heard that the
books will be opened so it is clear that all
our works are known to God whether they
are bad or good.

I know that some may think that the

resurrection of the dead was announced to
people after Jesus came to earth in flesh
and returned to heaven, but that is not true. I
believe that even the prophets of the Old
Testament were also shown what will
happen to the dead and what was shown to
them is the same as what was shown to
other ministers in the New Testament;
Daniel 12:1_2.
The prophet Daniel was shown the day of
resurrection as a day of great trouble, I hope
we all know that standing before God is not
easy especially on the day of judgment. For
It is written saying

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in

the dust of the earth shall awake, some to
everlasting life, and some to shame and
everlasting contempt.

I encourage you youths to fight against sin,

especially that of fornication because we all
do not know when we will leave this world.
As we have heard that there are those who
will rise up to be humiliated, let us be saved
so that we will not be found in a painful trial.

While we are still breathing, we still have a

chance to come to Jesus, boys and girls.
This is the truth that there is no other way
with eternal life except Jesus who bought us
with his blood on the cross; John 11:25-26.
In this verse we see that Lazarus died in a
place called Bethany and Jesus came to the
place where Lazarus died to resurrect him.
So let's all see here that Jesus is the one
who raises people from both physical and
spiritual death.
Jesus told Martha the sister of Lazarus that
he is the one who raises the dead;

John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the

resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in
me, though he were dead, yet shall he
live:And whosoever liveth and believeth in
me shall never die. Believest thou this?

So let's leave some strange religions and

believe in Jesus because he is the only one
who has eternal life. I testify of life to you
good youths who are loved by God, be
treated well and be strengthened by the Holy
Spirit.

Thank You

The teaching provides comfort by promising life beyond death and stressing the irreversibility of resurrection. This knowledge helps believers endure hardships with the assurance of eventual divine justice and evaluation, thus guiding them to live morally accountable lives underlining the temporariness of earthly challenges .

Daniel's vision foretells a resurrection where some awaken to eternal life and others to shame, resembling the New Testament's teaching of a resurrection leading to judgment. Both stress a binary outcome post-resurrection, either reward or punishment, and the continuity of this message shows a consistent eschatological perspective across the Scriptures .

Jesus explains to the Sadducees that in the resurrection from the dead, there will be no marriage, as marriage is an institution for the physical bodies on Earth. In heaven, people will have spiritual bodies, akin to angels, and will not experience death or marriage .

The teachings in 1 Corinthians 15 link moral behavior to the hope of resurrection, suggesting that good deeds are a preparation for eternal life. They convey that ethical living is spiritually beneficial, offering rewards beyond the physical realm, thus motivating believers to prioritize moral integrity .

The vision reveals that all the dead, regardless of status or age, will stand before God to be judged according to their deeds as recorded in the books. This emphasizes the accountability of all individuals and the inevitability of judgment based on one's lifetime actions .

Revelation 20:12-13 shows that divine judgment hinges on the deeds performed throughout one's life, as recorded in divine books. This illustrates a fairness and thoroughness in God's judgment process, where each individual is assessed based on their actions and contributions .

Apostle Paul uses the analogy of a seed that must die and decay in the ground to produce a new plant to describe the resurrection. This suggests that physical death is necessary for the spiritual transformation and eternal life, emphasizing that our earthly body must 'die' for our spirit to be reborn .

Paul urges believers not to be ignorant of the teachings concerning death, as having knowledge provides hope and lessens sorrow. This understanding differentiates believers from those without hope and aligns with a faith that views death as a temporary state before a promised resurrection .

Jesus's declaration in John 11 that he is the resurrection and the life underscores his divine authority over life and death, promising both physical and spiritual resurrection to believers. This belief forms a core tenet of Christian soteriology, emphasizing faith in Jesus as the pathway to eternal life and highlighting his role as a savior .

The fact that both Old and New Testament prophets received revelations about the resurrection signals a consistent and longstanding divine plan concerning life after death. It underscores the permanence and coherence of God's message throughout biblical history, bridging different eras and covenants .
