A. In the following paragraph, Alice is talking about her working day. Read it and decide what
job she does.
My name is Alice. I get up early at six o’clock, have breakfast, and go to work at a quarter to seven. I get to
work before eight, and then I make coffee! I work from half past eight until a quarter past four, but I don’t
really finish until five o’clock. When I leave work, I’m tired but happy. I get home around six, and then I
have dinner and take a shower. I also work in the evening - sometimes I don’t go to bed until midnight! Do I
work hard? Yes, I do. But I love the children. And I don’t work in the summer!

Speaking/writing : Work in pairs. Interview your partner about their routine. Then make a note of
their answers. Write a short text about their routine.

Game
Objective: To practice forming sentences in the simple present tense by acting out verbs and guessing
sentences.
How to Play:
1. Divide the Class into Teams: Split students into three teams.
2. Prepare Verb Cards: Write various verbs in the simple present tense on cards (e.g., "run," "eat,"
"read," "dance," "sing," etc.).
3. A volunteer to Act Out: A student from one team picks a card and has to act out the verb without
speaking.
4. Guess the Sentence: The volunteer’s team has to guess the verb and form an affirmative sentence in
the simple present tense using the personal pronoun suggested by the teacher. The other teams form
the negative and interrogative versions of the affirmative sentence suggested by the first team.
5. Switch Teams: After each round, switch teams. Continue until everyone has had a turn.
