Module 1: SERVING GOD IS EVERY BELIEVERS
COVENANT RESPONSIBILITY
Job. 36:11/ Jn. 12:26
Who is a servant of God? Anyone serving God and the
interest of His kingdom on earth, young or old, male or
female, with or without a title is a servant of God – Matt.
24:45-46/ Jn 15:16

Serving God is neither a calling nor a gift, it is a choice –
Josh. 24:15/ Job. 36:11
Serving God entitles a believer to rewards that has no
comparison on the earth – Exo. 23:25-26/ Gal. 6:7-9
This is why we must remain fervent in our stewardship – 1
Cor. 15:58/ Rom. 12:11
Note the following examples:
Abraham; A blessed business ‘emperor’ was a servant of
God – Ps 105:42/ Gen. 14:14-20
Job; A renowned business leader was an acclaimed
servant of God – Job. 1:1-3 / 8-9
David; the King of Israel was a celebrated servant of God
– Ps 89:20-24
Daniel; a foremost ruler in Babylon was a renowned
servant of God – Dan. 6:1-3/20
Anna; A widow of Eighty-four years was serving God with
prayer and fasting in the temple – Luk. 2:37
Module 2: There is a Place for Every Believer in
Stewardship –Mat. 20:1-10
Profitable kingdom stewardship is spiritually demanding
for everyone who truly cares to engage – Hag. 1:3-8/
Hag. 2:3-7

But engaging in kingdom advancement endeavours pays
the most, the highest and the incomparable – Exo.

Diverse opportunities for engagement includes:
A Place on the Altar of Prayer.
Kingdom Stewardship is stirred and sustained on the altar
of prayer – Hab. 3:1-2
We birth souls into the kingdom through the labour room
of prayer – Isa. 66:7-8/ Gal. 4:19
We ensure establishment of our new converts in faith
through the altar of prayer – Luk. 11:21-22/ Col. 4:12
A Place for Witnessing Christ to the Lost.
Soul winning is every believer’s responsibility – Jhn 15:1-
2/8/16
Every child of God is called to be an ambassador of
Christ, on a mission to reconcile the world back to God –
2 Cor. 5:17-20
A Place for Inviting People to Church for their
Salvation.
The Samaritan woman went out, inviting people to meet
with Christ
– Jhn 4:4-7/28-29/39
We are called to go again and again inviting people for
the feast of the Word in Church – Luk. 14:17-21
And as we honour God in bringing people to the Church,
He honours us back in return – Pro. 14:28/ 1 Sam. 2:30
A Place for Compelling People to Come to Church.
We compel people to come by providing means of
transportation for them – Luk. 14:23

The crippled man at the beautiful gate that was ill got
carried there daily till he encountered God’s power that
set him free – Act. 3:1-6/16
A Place for Following up of New Converts to the
Point of Establishment.
Following up in one of the ways to ensure that our fruits
abide – Jhn 15:16
Checking on our converts over and again is one way to
keep them in the faith – Act. 15:36
Another way to ensure their establishment is by making
materials available to them that will help build their faith
in Christ – 2 Tim. 3:15/ Dan. 9:2/ 1

Other stewardship opportunities include:
1. Helping the sick in their need for Medicare – Lk.

2. Commitment to ministering to the saints through
counselling and prayers – Heb. 6:10 /

INSURANCE
All things we will ever need are made available through
service – Mat. 6:33/ Ex. 23:25-26
God’s favour is lavished on us – Ps. 102: 13-15/ Ps.

We secure all-round rest – 2Chr. 12:15/ Job 36:11
Amazingly there is room for everyone who desires to
serve – Mat. 20:1-6
Its all a matter of choice – Jn. 24:15
It’s a covenant opportunity for every believer who cares –

King and peasants alike – Ps. 89: 20-24/ Mat. 20:3
Great and small alike – Ps. 105:42/ Jn. 4:29/35/ Job

Module 4: ENGAGEMENT IN CHURCH SERVICE UNITS –
Exo. 23:25-26
Kingdom stewardship is simply serving the interest of the
Kingdom, that is, a commitment to the growth,
expansion and enlargement of the Kingdom
– Matt 6:33/ Hag. 1:5-14/ Psa. 102:13-15
Secondly, serving the interest of others both within and
outside the Body of Christ – Matt. 25:31-45/ Gal 6:10
Example here is Job:
Job 1:1-3 – Serving God’s interest
Job 29:1-25 – Serving the interest of others
Kingdom Stewardship can be classified as follows:
Spiritual stewardship as in: soul winning,
discipleship, Kingdom promotion prayer and
intercessions for church growth, establishment of new
converts and impactful service– Jhn. 15:16/ Psa.
2:8/Luk 2:37/ Col 4:12
Financial Stewardship: This includes financial
investment in Kingdom projects such as: Outreaches,
Building of churches, acquisition of landed properties,
generating sets, church chairs, vehicles, decoration
materials, ministering to the needs of others etc. –
Hag. 1:5-14/ Heb 6:10 / Ex 35:4-22 /Ex 36:6-8
Practical Stewardship: It is making available our
skills and expertise as may be required from time to

time towards the promotion and expansion of the
Kingdom. These service units may include: ushering,
traffic, transportation, crowd control, security,
sanctuary keepers, parks and gardens, hospitality,
language translation, etc. Pro 14:23/ Lk 10:27
Module 5: KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP ENTHRONES
We discover from scriptures that access to all things that
make for life and godliness, including success, come
cheaply through dedication to kingdom advancement
endeavours – Psa. 34:10/Mat. 6:28-33
For example, all our seven-fold redemptive package,
namely, power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory
and blessings are all accessible through serving God
faithfully in our respective capacities – Rev. 5:12/ Mat.
25:14-15/ 1 Pet. 4:11
1. Serving God, a Platform for experiencing Divine
Presence.
Spiritual stewardship secures divine presence – Luk.
10:1/ Mat. 28:18-20
Divine presence is gateway to a world of all-weather
breakthrough as in the case of Joseph – Gen. 39:3-5/20-
21
Divine presence destroys all oppositions on the path of
our glorious destiny – Dan. 3:17-28/ Dan. 6:20-28

2. Serving God, a Platform for Engracement – 1 Cor.
15:9-11
No destiny can ever be greater than the grace available,
because it is grace that makes great– 2 Cor. 9:8/ 1 Cor.
15:10
Paul made his choice and God supplied him the grace – 1
Cor. 9:16-17/ Act. 26:22/ Rom. 8:35-39
Until we make our choice to serve God, we cannot access
His grace which impacts on all areas of our lives – 1 Kgs

3. Serving God, A Platform for Supernatural
Breakthroughs – Luk. 5:1-8/ Mak. 10:28-

As we continue to engage in serving God, He continues to
change our level – Luk. 19:13/17-19
When Judah entered into a covenant to serve God, God
turned their situation around and gave them rest round
about – 2 Chr. 15:12-15
Engaging our heart to serve God in truth and indeed is
ordained for our continuous change of status – Jer.
30:19-21/ Pro. 4:18
4. Serving God, A Platform for Experiencing
Supernatural Favour –

The example of Israel on their way out of Egypt – Exo.

The laws of nature were suspended for their sake – Psa.

5. Serving God, A Platform for Accessing
Supernatural Wisdom – 1Tim. 1:17/ Pro. 13:20
Serving God brings believers into companionship with
Him – Mak. 16:20/ Luk. 10:1/ 1 Cor.
3:9
Our God is the only wise God and walking with Him
makes us supernaturally wise – Pro. 13:20/ 1 Tim. 1:17
6. Serving God: A Platform for Glory and Honour for
the Redeemed
Every Soul winner is wise and the wise shall inherit glory
– Pro. 11:30/ Pro. 3:35
Also in the multitude of people is the king’s honour and
everyone that honours God is honoured by God in return
– Pro. 14:28/ 1 Sam. 2:30
Everyone truly serving God and the interest of his
Kingdom will always end up with a seal of glory and
honour from God – Jhn. 12:23-26/ Jer. 30:19-21
7. Serving God: A Platform for continuous flow of
Revelation
Revelation is the mystery behind all turnaround
experience in a believer’s life – 2 Cor. 3:18
Applied revelation can turn a little one to a thousand and
a small one to a nation – Jer. 30:19-20
