1.2 Insights Ensuring Profitability and Business Stability
Licensing and Permits
Businesses established in the Philippines, whether as a sole proprietorship, a partnership,
or a corporation, must meet certain basic legal requirements. The first need is that a business and
its name be registered with the appropriate department or agency. The Department of Trade and
Industry requires that sole proprietorships be registered (DTI). Partnerships and corporations, on
the other hand, must be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
After acquiring the necessary documents and permits, our business is to be registered under
the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) acquired from the
Revenue District Office (RDO) within the location of our business is needed by the business owner.
Lastly, our group must register for government programs for the benefit of our employees
for possible employment procedures. Programs such as Social Security System (SSS), Philippine
Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG
Fund) can help with our employees’ benefits in terms of health, retirement, and loans for possible
employment procedures. The possibility of intending a training or education programs or
businesses, our business must be registered to the Department of Education (DepEd). For a food
business, our group must register with the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) to ensure our
product’s safety to be sold.

Marketing Strategy
For the marketing strategy implemented in Ramen Bliss, our group will utilize “Yippie
Noodles Marketing Strategy & Marketing Mix” that MBA Skool Team published in 2017. In their
article, the MBA Skool Team elaborated the “4Ps” of marketing, including Product, Price, Place,
and Promotion, a marketing strategy that employs service innovation, pricing approach, and
promotion planning to help their business succeed. However, considering that we only need to
elucidate three out of four of the “4Ps” for our product, we will only expand Ramen Bliss’ service,
place, distribution, and promotion and advertising strategy.
Product Strategy for Stability and Sustenance
Ramen Bliss will provide high-quality ramen bowls that combine the traditional flavors of
Japanese cuisine with the rich and unique taste of Filipino ingredients. Each bowl is crafted with
care, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to ensure exceptional flavor while supporting local

Ramen Bliss will use simple but effective methods to promote the brand and attract customers.
We’ll start by focusing on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. These
platforms will showcase our delicious ramen bowls with beautiful pictures, short cooking videos,
and customer reviews. Fun activities like giveaways and polls will keep people engaged and
interested. We will also team up with food bloggers and influencers to help spread the word about
our unique ramen. Their recommendations will encourage more people to try our food. In-store
promotions like free tastings, discounts, and loyalty rewards will help bring in new customers and
keep regular ones coming back. Posters and signs in and around the store will make our place stand

Floor Plan and Building Proposal
The floor plan of Ramen Bliss is designed to create a cozy and functional space, making
the most of its compact size while ensuring a pleasant experience for both customers and staff. The
layout balances comfort, efficiency, and accessibility, ensuring smooth operations and a
welcoming atmosphere.
As customers step inside, they are greeted by a small entrance and waiting area near the
front door. This space features a bench or a couple of chairs for those waiting to be seated or
picking up takeout orders. A reception counter is positioned nearby, where staff can quickly assist
with seating arrangements, order inquiries, or payments.
The main dining area occupies the largest portion of the shop. It features 6 to 8 tables, each
accommodating 2 to 4 people. The tables are arranged to maximize seating capacity while
maintaining enough space for easy movement and privacy. Seating options include a mix of
individual tables for couples or solo diners and communal benches for groups, creating a flexible
and inclusive setup. Warm lighting and thoughtful decor enhance the ambiance, making the space
inviting and comfortable.
At the back of the shop is the kitchen, the heart of Ramen Bliss. Separated by a partial wall
or a service counter with a window, the kitchen allows for efficient food preparation and quick
service. It includes dedicated areas for cooking, food preparation, and dishwashing, with storage
