HEY EVERYONE my name is Stephanie Di ielsi

I am a feng shui consultant and recent graduate of the mindful design school of feng shui and have been asked by my teachers, ANJIE and
LAURA to take over their Instagram today to talk to YOU about the POWER OF COLOUR and how WE can benefit from it in our environment!

BUT Before I dive into that, I just want to take the time to thank my teachers ANJIE and LAURA for all the knowledge they’ve passed down to
me and for this opportunity to now share with all of you some of what I’ve taken and learned from this ancient wisdom.

So I strongly encourage you to check out the mindful design school if you are interested in becoming a Feng shui consultant or just simply want
to learn how you can shift and transform your life with feng shui.

Angie and Laura you guys are awesome..so thank you again for everything that you do!

Now..Going back to colour...

I know we could ALL use a little uplifting these days..so why not harness some of those AWESOME VIBES by adding a little more colour into your
life.

I… am actually working on adding more colour to my home as well..so I'm really here to share with you what I've learned so far..
And that is that…
There is actually a lot more to colour than meets the eye...pun intended lol

When you bring a new colour, texture or shape into your home, you are actually bringing in a new and unique, vibration of energy.

And so our mind and body are constantly tuning into these frequencies ALL around us. Sometimes it’s conscious..sometimes it’s subconscious
but you are CONSTANTLY being influenced by the energies in your environment.

And THAT’S why Feng shui is such a powerful practice.. it really gives you ALL the tools you need to map out and really become more mindful of
how energy (known as chi) is flowing IN and AROUND your spaces and then how to work with it in a way that supports YOU.

And one of the MOST powerful ways you can work with the CHI in your home to support you is by using colour...

So how do you really know which colours support you?

Well it first depends on how YOU want to feel supported in a particular space.

For example, you might want to feel a more exciting or romantic vibe in your bedroom. And to do that most people will intuitively gravitate
towards adding colours like red and pink.

That is because Red is a very stimulating colour, and so it’s good for awakening that sexy vibe but not so much for getting rest. So in this case it
might be a better idea to add accents of red by adding a red pillow or a painting or even some red candles will work great.

Pink on the other hand still has the same attributes as red but with a more calming and soothing effect on the nervous system.

And that’s what’s so fascinating about working with colour… there are so many different frequencies that you can tune into and experiment
with using all the various shades and tints within each hue.

the possibilities are endless!

So we may often get overwhelmed by all the choices and gravitate toward the same colours that we love but don’t be afraid to experiment by
also adding colours that you wouldn’t normally choose.. because they might carry those EXACT vibrations you need!

Believe it or not but the colours we dislike can reveal a lot about what is going on in our subconscious.

There is a colour therapist named Brian Breilng who talks about how he noticed that when exposing his patients to their least favourite
colours..it actually helped them face and let go of their emotional traumas. He uses what is called colour light therapy..so I encourage you to
look into that, if that resonates with you.

With being said, I’m going list a few of the main hues and their attributes so that you can decide for yourself which colours and vibes you might
want to bring more of into your home…

Starting.. with.. ORANGE, (show orange)

Orange is a very joyful and happy colour. It stimulates optimism, confidence and a sense of community. It is a great colour to add where you will
be having many group gatherings like in your living room or dining room for example.
A great way you can harness this energy is by simply adding a bowl of oranges to your dining room or table. In feng shui oranges are also used
in rituals for energy clearing so they carry a very powerful energy.

Next is yellow…
Yellow is also a very cheerful and happy colour and really stimulates your intellect and communication so it is a great accent colour to add to an
office or a study or really anywhere that you want to bring in more joy.
Which is precisely why I chose to wear my favourite yellow sweater today.. the clothes we wear also have a very strong influence on the way we
feel and the energies we are tuning into.

Next is Blue… Blue is the very first colour of the cool spectrum colours and stimulates you to seek inner truth and inner peace. So It’s great for
any room used for relaxing like a bedroom, meditation room or even a bathroom.

Similar to blue..purple is also very calming and comforting..and stimulates our spirituality and intuition even further..so this is great for any
meditation room or on your alter.
(Show purple candle)
Also..Keep in mind that purple is best used as an accent colour in your home because it is very powerful and actually omits the highest
energetic frequency out of all the colours in the spectrum of light.

Last but not least, is green.

Green is a very particular colour because it is a balance between the warm of red, orange and yellow, and the cool introverted colours of blue,
indigo, and Violet. So green has the ability to really stimulate feelings of balance and harmony. It is great for any room in your home becAuse it
can be restful yet energizing.
My favourite way to add green into my spaces is by bringing in some green plants, (show plant)
I love my plants, they are more to me than just accents in my spaces, they are alive and beaming with energy. Plants are also used in a lot of
feng shui cures in order to activate chi.

So if you are home and looking for something uplifting and fun to do, Now is a probably the best time to experiment with all the colours and all
the elements in your spaces..Without going over board of course..You still want to keep your spaces balanced and work with the 5 elements. So
with that in mind, get creative and really tune into those colours that support your overall well-being..

I just want to leave you with one last tip before I go, which is to try and let in as much natural light as much as possible..it is our earths most
POWERFUL source of energy and contains ALL the colours imaginable so it will give you and your home an INSTANT boost of energy. And if you
don’t get enough natural light in your home, take a walk in nature, it is already surrounded by A beautiful balance of colours and textures
BEAMING with good vibes.

So I will leave you with that!

I wish you all the best of luck. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to send them my way. You can also reach me on my insta
