Victor: Everyone, settle down. Naomi Cesumision would like to announce something.
Naomi : Good morning, everyone. I would like to announce that we are going to be having a
fieldtrip for this school year, 2024-2025. Further details will be announced at the next
meeting. Thank you everyone for your time and you may go.
*EVERYONE CLAPS AND WALKED OUT*
Victor: Thank you, Nadine.
Naomi: Your always welcome, sir.
*VICTOR WALKS OUT OF THE CLASSROOM*
Mavis: Wow, you are really good at public speech!
Naomi: Thank you, you should try volunteering sometimes.
*MAVIS BLANKED OUT*
Naomi: Hello? *snaps* Mavis to earth?
Naomi: Girl, are you okay?
Mavis: Yeah, yeah. Of course.
Naomi: Alright, let’s go take our break.
*The camera shows that Mavis and Naomi are going out*
THE NEXT DAY…
Victor: Everyone, this is an emergency. Who would like to volunteer for
the announcement later?
*Mavis raised her hand*
Victor: Yes, Mavis?
Mavis: Where’s Naomi?
Victor: Well, Naomi had a family emergency so she’s absent for today. We need a replacement.
Victor: Who can volunteer? No one? I guess I have to pick, Mavis.
Mavis: Me?
Victor: Yes.
Mavis: Yeah, yeah. I would like to, sir..
Victor: Alright, here’s the speech you will be giving infront of the class.
*Victor hands a paper*
Mavis: Thank you.
*Mavis got the paper and stood infront of the class, anxious.*
Victor: Whenever your ready.
*As Mavis speaks, the flashbacks starts.*

Mavis was so confident giving speeches until that one day, she made just one mistake and everyone
laughed at her.
Mavis: Good morning, everyone. This school year 2022 – 2023, I mean-
*Everyone laughed at her*
Galen: I thought you were good!
*Everyone is chanting “loser”*
*Mavis was embarrassed and ran away*

Victor: Are you okay?
Mavis: Yeah.
*Mavis got out and had a breakdown*
Victor: Well, Mavis wanted to say that the field trip is on November 10, 2024. The attire you must
wear is PE uniform. The departure time is 5:30. That’s it everyone, you may have your break.
The next day…
*Everyone is talking about the fieldtrip*
Mavis: Hey, can you give me tips for giving a speech?
Naomi: I would like to. Why, what happened?
Mavis: Well, I was confident giving speeches until that one day I made one mistake and everyone
laughed about it.
Naomi: I see, let’s gain your confidence back.

Naomi: Sir Vince, I can’t do the announcement today. I have a sore throat. Can Mavis do it?
Victor: Oh, alright.
Victor: Here’s the speech that your supposed to be saying today.
Mavis: Thank you sir.

Naomi: Wow, nice!
Mavis: Well, I’m not here right now if you didn’t help me.
Naomi: I’m glad that you regained your confidence again.
Mavis: I’m glad that you helped me.
