The licence is renewed subject to the conditions specified in the byelaws for the above said trade in the
KMC act. Some of the important conditions are:
1. That this licence need to be affixed in a glass photo frame and exhibited in a prominent place in at
the trade premises and that will be produced when demanded any of the authorized officers of the
department.
2. That the trade premises must be cleaned from time to time as often as may be necessary to prevent
any accumulation of filth, dirt etc.
3. No person suffering from any loathsome or infectious disease should be employed or allowed within
the trade premises.
4. This licence granted shall not absolve the grantee from any obligations cast on him under any other
law and hence is liable for suspension, revocation or cancellation.
5. The grantee of this licence shall inform atleast one month in advance if he intends to add any other
trade/ commodities to his existing licence.
6. The grantee shall not keep or allowed to be keep any article relating to the trade outside the
grantee premises or on public road or footpath.
7. The animal waste generated in the shop should be disposed scientifically as per Municipal Solid
Waste Management Guidelines and if the Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(BBMP) provides
collection and transport facility and levies fee for the same should be paid by the grantee of license.
8. With respect to disposal of waste,cleanliness of the shop and other related maintenance,the grantee
should abide by the rules and provision of act made by the BBMP .If there are any
voiolation/deviation BBMP will have the rights to cancel the shop licence.
9. The meat shop building should be built for commercial purpose latest tax paid receipt/Khatha
(copy) and possession certificate should be provided.
10. There should be an agreement between the building owner and trade owner to sell meat.
11. There should be NOC from the neighbouring shops/residents.
12. The equipment/tools used in shop should be clean and hygeneic .The shop walls should have glazed

there are no mosquitoes and [Link] shop should have black glass front door.
