The following workshops and training sessions will be conducted during our teachers' training in

December 2024.

Workshop # 1. ADHD and Autism:

Nowadays, two problems prevalent in children are ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). ADHD affects attention, hyperactivity, and
impulse control, while Autism impacts social interaction, communication, and behavior.

Key Areas:

● ADHD: Inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity


● Autism: Social challenges, repetitive behaviors, sensory sensitivities, communication
difficulties

Workshop # 2. Crisis Management and Mental Health Support for Teachers and
Students

● Overview: Identifying and addressing mental health concerns in the classroom and
providing crisis intervention.
● Key areas: Recognizing signs of mental health issues, handling bullying, supporting
trauma-affected students, self-care for teachers.

Workshop # 3. Effective Classroom Observation and Feedback

● Overview: How to give constructive feedback to teachers and peers to support


professional growth and improvement.
● Key areas: Observational techniques, feedback methods, peer mentoring, reflective
practice.

Workshop # 4. Building Emotional Intelligence in Educators


● Overview:
Building emotional intelligence in educators enhances self-awareness, empathy, and emotional
regulation, improving classroom management and relationships.
● Key areas: include self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, social skills, motivation,
stress management, and fostering positive teacher-student connections. These skills
help teachers navigate challenges, support students, and maintain a positive, productive
learning environment.

Workshop # 5. Teaching 21st-Century Skills:


● Overview: Teaching 21st-century skills focuses on fostering collaboration,
communication, and creativity in students.
● Key areas:
include teamwork, effective communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and encouraging
innovative thinking for real-world challenges.
