Respected Sir,

I am writing this application as a student of UET Lahore Narowal Campus. I am facing a lot of difficulties and
risks in commuting to and from the campus due to the poor condition of transport at Narowal. I would like to bring
to your notice the following problems and request you to take immediate action to solve them.

• The city lacks traffic officers and has heavy traffic load due to trucks and other vehicles. This causes
frequent traffic jams, accidents, and pollution. The traffic rules and regulations are not followed by the
drivers and the pedestrians. Many students have faced numerous accidents in past few months.
• The public transport system is inadequate and unreliable. There are not enough buses, vans, rickshaws, and
taxis to cater to the needs of the students and the general public. The fares are high and the vehicles are
overcrowded, uncomfortable, and unsafe. The drivers are rude, reckless, and unprofessional. The routes
and timings are irregular and unpredictable.
• The private transport options are limited and expensive. The students who own motorcycles or cars have to
bear the high cost of fuel, maintenance, and parking. The students who rent motorcycles or cars have to
pay exorbitant rates and face the risk of theft, damage, and fraud. The students who use ride-hailing
services have to deal with the issues of availability, quality, and security.

These problems have adversely affected the academic performance, physical health, mental well-being, and social
life of the students of UET Lahore Narowal Campus. Many students have missed their classes, exams,
assignments, and deadlines due to the transport issues. Many students have suffered injuries, illnesses, and stress
due to the transport issues. Many students have lost their interest, motivation, and confidence due to the transport
issues.

I request you to kindly address these problems and take the necessary steps to improve the transport situation at
Narowal. Some of the possible solutions are:

• Appointing more traffic officers and enforcing strict traffic rules and regulations.
• Expanding and upgrading the public transport system and ensuring its affordability, availability, and
quality.
• Encouraging and facilitating the private transport options and ensuring their safety, security, and
convenience

I joined UET Lahore Narowal campus in September 2023 as a biomedical engineering student. It is one of the sub-
campuses of the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, which is a prestigious and renowned
institution in Pakistan. The campus is located in the city of Narowal, which is about 120 km from Lahore. The
campus is spread over 200 acres of land and has state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure. The campus has a
library, a computer lab, a workshop, a cafeteria, a sports complex, a mosque, and a hostel. The campus also has a
beautiful and serene environment, surrounded by green fields and trees.
The faculty and staff of the campus are highly qualified and experienced. They are very supportive and helpful to
the students. They teach us the theoretical and practical aspects of biomedical engineering, which is a
multidisciplinary field that combines engineering, medicine, and biology. The curriculum is designed to equip us
with the knowledge and skills to design, develop, and improve medical devices, systems, and processes. The
courses include subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, biomechanics, biomaterials,
bioinstrumentation, biosensors, biostatistics, and more. We also have to do projects, assignments, presentations,
and quizzes to assess our learning and understanding.

The campus life is very exciting and enjoyable. I have made many new friends from different backgrounds and
cultures. We study together, play together, and have fun together. We also participate in various extracurricular
activities and events organized by the campus, such as sports, cultural, social, and academic. We also go for
outings and picnics to nearby places, such as the Ravi River, the Narowal Stadium, and the Kartar pur Corridor.

I am very happy and satisfied with my institution and studies. I am learning a lot and gaining a lot of experience. I
am also developing my personality and confidence. I am looking forward to completing my degree and pursuing
my career in biomedical engineering.

when He was a student in my Basic Electrical course. This summer, I hired him to work on a PK medical
sponsored research project on Bio Medical instrumentation.

Nadeem Anwar is an undergraduate student in the honors program at UET, Lahore Narowal campus.

His performance exceeded that of the incoming graduate students, including a PK medical fellowship recipient. He
