ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION
Academic year is divided into two Terms. Term I is from April to September and Term II is from October to March.
Evaluation of Scholastic Area will be done through formal assessments as well as through day-to-day performance
activities. practical assignments, classwork, homework, projects, quizzes, etc.
PLEASE NOTE:
I. Internal Assessment will be done twice a year. and both Will contribute equally to the overall assessment.
The components of the Internal Assessment are:
 Periodic Tests
 Multiple Assessments (This component Shall be based on Clag Tests. Home Assignments, Hands—
on Activities, Class Participation. etc.)
 Portfolio (AIS Research Reports. Scripts. Essays. etc.)
 Subject Enrichment Activities (Practical Lab work. Project work, Artwork etc.)
II. Periodic Tests consists of a Pen-Paper test.
III. There will be a Exam at the end of each Term. A Comprehensive assessment Report Card in the form of
marks, grades and remarks is issued at the end of each term. The final result Will include Term I and Term
II Marks.
IV. Students absent at an examination for any reason will not be given another chance to retake the
examination.
