ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION
Academic year is divided into two Terms. Term I is from April to September and Term II is from October to March.
Evaluation of Scholastic Area will be done through formal assessments as well as through day-to-day performance
activities. practical assignments, classwork, homework, projects, quizzes, etc.
PLEASE NOTE:
I. Internal Assessment will be done twice a year. and both Will contribute equally to the overall assessment.
The components of the Internal Assessment are:
Periodic Tests
Multiple Assessments (This component Shall be based on Clag Tests. Home Assignments, Hands—
on Activities, Class Participation. etc.)
Portfolio (AIS Research Reports. Scripts. Essays. etc.)
Subject Enrichment Activities (Practical Lab work. Project work, Artwork etc.)
II. Periodic Tests consists of a Pen-Paper test.
III. There will be a Exam at the end of each Term. A Comprehensive assessment Report Card in the form of
marks, grades and remarks is issued at the end of each term. The final result Will include Term I and Term
II Marks.
IV. Students absent at an examination for any reason will not be given another chance to retake the
examination.
