JOB DESCRIPTION FOR RECRUITMENT TO SEVENTY EIGHT (78)


POSTS OF ZILLADAR (BS-16) ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A
PERIOD OF THREE YEARS IN THE IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK

1. Preparation Tawan cases.


2. Collection of Abiana/ E-Abiana
3. Preparation of Wara Bandi
4. Preparation of Revenue Missal work
5. Collection of Revenue of Canal Water usage by the farmers of his area. He is also
responsible for resolution of disputes relating to water usage and allied matters of
the area of his jurisdiction.
6. Preparation of court cases of revenue and assist the Deputy Canal Collector.

OCCASIONAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To pursue the cases regarding assessment of Abiana, Warabandi, Canal Water


Supply, compensation etc, in the Court of law.
2. Emergency duties in case of Flood and wide spread calamities etc.
3. Annual desilting of Channels.
