Dear Sir/Madam,
1. This has reference to the invitation to provide your student Ruchika Bihari
exposure to professional working environment by way of an American Express Summer
Internship/Apprenticeship Program “Training” as part of the student’s course with your institute.
2. The student/apprentice will undergo this Training at our organization with effect from 20-Jan-25
27-Jun-25 p The student/apprentice during the Training Period shall abide by the Organization
till _(“Training
policies.
3. The student/apprentice will enroll themselves on the apprenticeship portal as per the requirements
under the Apprentices Act 1961(“Act”) and shall enter into a contract of apprenticeship with such
terms and conditions as may be agreed by the parties to the contract as listed down in Annexure 1
annexed to this letter
4. Notwithstanding any other provision, during the Training Period :
a. If the student/apprentice ceases to be enrolled with your institution then you are required
to notify us.
b. Furthermore, the Training may be terminated upon the expiration or unilateral termination
of the contract of apprenticeship by either party.
5. During the Training Period our organization shall pay a monthly stipend of Rs. 100000
to the student/apprentice, subject to deduction of tax at source, if applicable. No other sums,
expenses or costs shall be payable unless approved in writing by our organization.
6. The details of the project/training/apprenticeship assignment(s) shall be communicated to the
student/apprentice from time to time during the Training Period.
7. The student/apprentice shall, if required for purpose of the project/assignment/apprenticeship,
travel anywhere in or outside India at the sole discretion of our organization. In case of travel to
location other than our office in Gurgoa
Gurgaonn suitable travel arrangements/reimbursements of
travel expense shall be made as per our organization rules.
8. We confirm that this Training does not in any way constitute or imply any relationship of
employer/employee between our organization and the student/apprentice.
We shall be happy to provide any more information required by you.

our records.

Annexure 1 – to the Training Offer Letter
This document aims to provide additional clarifications to some critical components or questions
pertaining to the Training.
1. Training Stipend – The Training Offer Letter clearly calls out the monthly stipend. This is the
only amount Intern/apprentice is eligible during the Training period and shall not be entitled to
any other statutory benefits that full-time employee of the Company are entitled to.
2. American Express Credit Card Enrollment Fees – During the Training Period, he/she is not
eligible for claiming reimbursements related to annual fees of American Express Credit Cards.
3. Transport / Travel – In continuation of (1) above, any travel or transport reimbursements
depend on business unit requirements or location policies.
4. Company Policy – In addition to all mandatory trainings, interns/apprentices throughout the
Training Period shall adhere to American Express Policies applicable to them including Code of
Conduct and Social Media Policy.
5. Training Completion Letter – The Training completion letter will only be shared upon successful
completion of Training period for the full cohort which the intern/apprentice is part of and upon
confirmation of recovery of all AMEX issued assets. No interim proofs of
internships/apprenticeship, supporting letters or emails shall be provided before the completion
of the Training Period.
