2. James borrowed shs . 1200000 shillings from the bank on an understanding of paying the
money back with the interest. If the bank charges a simple interest at a rate of 10 % per
annum. What is the simple interest that James pays after one year?
iii) If he decides to pay back after 3.5 years, how much money will he pay back in total
(4 marks)
3. Workout the value of the angles x, y and w in the figures below.
