RISK ASSESSMENT - WATER PROOFING ACTIVITIES

 Refer scaffolding RA.
 Do not use make shift devices as access.
 Tie the scaffolding / ladder to the building.

 Inspect scaffolding/ ladder for defects before starting the job (use
checklist).

 Ventilation if it’s a confined space.

 If the roof edges are open, provide temporary handrails before doing
the job
 If there are any manholes or other openings in the roof, cover them or
