Wind Power

Wind power utilizes wind energy to generate electricity through wind turbines, with a history rooted in early windmills. A case study in Wyoming highlights the state's significant wind energy capacity and its environmental impacts, while also facing challenges from fossil fuel industries. The document advocates for increased investment in wind energy to combat climate change and reduce reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

Pros/Cons
Cons: Pros:
- NIMBY - Very eco-friendly
- High initial cost - Very cost-effective
- Blade shatters - Sustainable!
- Barons get sad - Doesnʼt annihilate the
- Birds get hit ozone layer

Conclusion
Wind power is a fantastic
alternative to other energy sources
and should be harnessed in a much
greater capacity than it is at the
moment. In fact, not doing so is
actively harmful to not only the
environment, but to humans as
well. The main reason we havenʼt
invested more in it is due to
lobbying by fossil fuel corporations
and barons paying for policy. More
pro-wind legislation would allow
less dependence on inferior forms
of power and pave the way towards
a cleaner future.
