The 3 Types of Blessings
1. The very first type of blessing is what I call the “Genesis Blessings”. It was the first
pronouncement of blessings that God pronounced upon ALL humanity when He created
mankind. Mankind was originally blessed and empowered to succeed by God. This blessing is
available to every single human being on Earth.
Gen 1:27-28
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female
created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply…
2. The Second type of blessing is the “Old Covenant Blessings”. This is the blessing of God
available based on the law of Moses. The people will be blessed if they strictly observe and
obey the Laws, but will be cursed and punished if they fail to do so.

Moreover, all these blessings will come upon you in abundance, if you obey the LORD your God:
3. The third type of blessing is the “New Covenant Blessings” This is all of God’s blessings called
Abrahamic blessings made available through faith in Christ and not by the mere observance of
the law of the Old Covenant.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written,
Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the
Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The word of God is a testament - A testament is a legal document declaring a person's wishes
regarding the disposal of their property when they die.
You have to know and understand the word of God to be able to access your blessings by faith.
