Artifact 1
This is a Yonex Lite racquet. It is one of the pro
series racquets and it symbolizes my transition into
playing badminton competitively. I invested my time
and took badminton seriously as it was a sport I
enjoyed the most. Me and my parents took a long
time before actually finalizing their decision in
Grade 7. Since then I have been dedicated to
badminton spending more than 10 hours a week on
it.
Artifact 2
This is a laptop. The doorway to infinite knowledge
if you use it right. This connects to how I spent my
summer vacation learning a math course on Khan
Academy which I enjoyed as it opened my eyes to a
new world of mathematics which I wasn’t aware of.
With the help of my computer my interest in
mathematics sparked and got me free falling through
an endless loop wanting to learn more.
Artifact 3
Moving to Canada at the age of 6 was a
transformative experience that shaped the course
of my life. Learning a new language, adapting to
a different educational system, and embracing
the Canadian way of life cultivated resilience
and adaptability. These formative years in
Canada not only broadened my horizons but also
instilled values of openness and acceptance,
profoundly influencing my personal and
professional development.
