An English Poem Competition was organized for the tiny tots of
Grade Nursery to boost their confidence, enhance self-expression,
and improve pronunciation skills.
The little ones participated with enthusiasm, reciting rhymes with
delightful actions and expressions. Eye-catching props added
charm, making the event a memorable experience.
Grade IV students enthusiastically participated in a
“Creating Palindrome Activity,” designed to enhance
their understanding of symmetrical word patterns.
Following an engaging introduction and videos on
palindromes, students brainstormed and crafted their
own—individually and in groups. From simple words
like “radar” to creative phrases like “Was it a car or
a cat I saw?”, the activity fostered creativity and
strengthened
language and
logical thinking
skills. The
session ended
with a showcase
of their
impressive
creations

Grade Nursery students engaged in a hands-on
“More and Less” activity, utilizing various objects
to grasp the concept of quantity comparison. This
interactive session effectively introduced them to
fundamental mathematical ideas, laying a solid
foundation for future learning
Grade III students celebrated Srinivasa
Ramanujan’s birth anniversary on December
22nd with a “Maths Race” activity. They
showcased creativity through projects, charts,
and solid shapes,
enhancing innovative
thinking,
problem-solving, and
analytical skills

Grade V students showcased their
mathematical prowess in the “Maths
Mania” quiz held on December 19,
2024. Team Red emerged
victorious, with members Bhavya,
Devansh, and Jalaj. Team Green,
comprising Aayansh, Aadish, and
Deveshwar, secured the runner-up
position
Grade VI students participated enthusiastically in
“Math Buzz,” a highlight of Maths Week dedicated
to honoring Srinivasa Ramanujan’s genius. The
event combined fun and learning through math
puzzles and rapid-fire rounds, boosting
problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.

In honor of Srinivasa Ramanujan’s birth anniversary,
Grade II students participated in a “Play with Shapes”
activity. They explored 3D real-life objects, enhancing
their understanding of various shapes in an enjoyable
setting. Additionally, students crafted colorful clowns,
butterflies, and sceneries using 2D shapes, further
enriching their learning experience
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the legendary
mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan a maths week was
organised. Throughout the week, a series of interactive
activities,competitions, and quizzes engaged participants of all
[Link] Maths Exhibition, held on the final day, transformed
the Maths Lab into a vibrant showcase of mathematical ideas.
Each exhibit was created by
students, who demonstrated
the practical uses of math
through models and posters.
The Chief guest, a retired
teacher [Link] Rani en-
couraged students to continue
their exploration of mathe-
matics, emphasizing that the skills they develop through these
projects will serve them in many aspects of life

campus buzzed with

changes encourages us to
live in the present and
appreciate each moment. To
help Nursery students
understand these
transitions, we conducted a
“Seasons’ Name” activity. The
children enjoyed learning about
each season and the associated
items, enhancing their awareness
of nature’s cycles

A two-day training program organized by the
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and
the Institute of Secretariat Training and
Management (ISTM) commenced at Model
School, Ambedkar Chowk. The event was
inaugurated by the school’s Principal, Dr. Aruna
Taneja, and saw enthusiastic participation from
over 50 teachers.
The workshop was graced by esteemed
dignitaries, including CBSE Panchkula Region’s
Joint Secretary, Mr. Tarun Kumar, ISTM’s Sasee
Parsee, Gunjan Gandhi, and Indrajeet Mittal. The
event was further enriched by the presence of
Model Education Society’s President and Deputy
Commissioner, Mr. Dhirendra Khadgata, Vice
President Mr. Ram Avatar Gupta, and Secretary
Mr. Rajesh Saharan.
The dignitaries wished for the workshop’s success
and emphasized its importance in fostering
professional growth among educators. The
training program was highly appreciated for its
smooth execution and collaborative spirit.
