IV. PROCEDURES
A. Preparatory Activities “As part of our review, I will show a picture of different body
parts and you will identify what body part it is.”
(see attachment A)

(The teacher will Ask 5 students to identify the body parts)

B. Motivation

The teacher will read a story of Helen Keller.

Helen Keller was born the year 1880 and she died on 1968.
She lived in a world of darkness and silence. She was blind
and deaf. She neither see nor hear. Yet she became a one of
America’s most authors and lectures. She had a very good
teacher Anne Sullivan. Anne made Helen feel objects with one
hand. Then she traced the word for each object onto the palm
of Helen’s hand.

C. Activity (the teacher will give a short quiz about the story)
Instruction: answer the following question.
1. who is Helen Keller?
2. Who was the teacher?
3. how did her teacher make her learned to read and right?
4. What sense of organ she used?
D. Analysis Get a piece of paper and answer it by giving the different
sense organs you will use to describe the following.

1. The height of the building_______

3. the texture of a silk cloth _______
4. The fragrance of sampaguita ________
5. the beautiful music___________

E. The teacher will discuss further on the 5 part of sense organ and its
functions.
Ask:
1. Can you name the five parts of sense of organ?
Ans: The fives parts are as follows: ears, eyes, nose, tongue, hands
2. What are there functions?
Ans: The function of ears is for hearing, eyes for seeing. Nose for
smelling, tongue for tasting, and hands for touching.
3. what happened to the senses of unhealthy human?
Ans: if the person unhealthy his/her organ sense could not normally
function.
4. Did you care about your health? Are these sense important to us
as human being? What are we going to do maintain the functions of
these different kinds of senses?

F. Application (The teacher will give a short quiz)
