The university urban area in Hoa Lac is a new planning and building site of Hanoi National University

located in Hanoi's Thach That district, about 30 kilometers west of the city center. This is regarded a good
learning environment for students due to its favorable geographical location and large open space. Up to
now, because Hoa Lac is a new establishment, living options are still restricted. As a result, I be a
foundation for the planned plan to construct additional new facilities, including a shopping mall.

The first reason is that constructing a shopping center will assist students better fulfill their living
needs. Currently, the distance between the dormitories and the market or store outside is fairly long. If
students do not have personal transportation, it is difficult for them to participate in activities. Therefore,
when there is a retail center, a lack of personal products or food can be easily solved. Also, increasing
investment in theatres to meet students' entertainment requirements is a smart idea. This proposal will
considerably improve and enhance the living and studying environment in Hoa Lac.

Second, the development of a shopping mall will provide several work chances for students. Students
can opportunity to select part-time work as salespeople in a commercial setting. Students will not only
earn extra money for living expenses, but they will also gain real-world experience and enhance their soft
skills by working at these professions. The idea to construct a commercial center will provide students
with the chance to train themselves in addition to studying in class.

In conclusion, many outstanding proposals have been offered for the development of new facilities in
Hoa Lac;while, from the perspective of students, creating a shopping mall will considerably benefit the
material and spiritual lives of students who live and study here. At the same time, it will contribute to a
more diverse image of the university's urban region in Hoa Lac.
