KU 3 Mampu mengkaji implikasi pengembangan atau implementasi ilmu pengetahuan teknologi yang
memperhatikan dan menerapkan nilai humaniora sesuai dengan keahliannya berdasarkan kaidah, tata cara
dan etika ilmiah dalam rangka menghasilkan solusi, gagasan,
desain atau kritik seni.
Keterampilan Khusus:
KK1: Menguasai landasan filosofis, yuridis, historis, sosiologis, kultural, psikologis, dan empiris
pendidikan;
KK5: Menerapkan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) dalam perencanaan

Mata kuliah Introduction to Literature, yang merupakan prasyarat untuk mata kuliah Prose, Poetry, dan
Drama, memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengeksplorasi konsep dasar, alamiah, fungsi,
dan pendekatan- pendekatan sastra dengan penekanan pada karya sastra Inggris. Bahan kajian untuk mata

kuliah ini konsep sastra yang meliputi definisi sastra, fungsi pembelajaran sastra, sejarah sastra Inggris,
dan pengenalan jenis-jenis sastra fiksi seperti prosa, puisi, dan drama. Pada mata kuliah ini, mahasiswa
juga diperkenalkan dengan masalah dalam masalah penulisan fiksi dan nonfiksi
serta pendekatan dasar untuk interpretasi sastra.

Tugas yang harus dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa adalah menulis makalah dari hasil analisis cerita pendek, novel, novela baik yang dikerjakan secara
kelompok maupun individu. UTS dan UAS.

FORMAT RANCANGAN TUGAS

1. TUJUAN TUGAS: Mahasiswa dapat menghargai, menjawab, dan menganalisis karya sastra prose fiction berdasarkan elemen-elemen prose
fiction, serta menyajikan dalam bentuk makalah sederhana.
2. URAIAN TUGAS:
a. Objek garapan: Short story, Novellette, dan Novel.
b. Yang harus dikerjakan dan batasan-batasan:Menulis makalah sederhana yang meliputi:Introduction, Concept of literary work, dan
hasil analisis setelah Membaca Short story, novelette, dan Novel, Kesimpulan, daftar pustaka 10 tahun terakhir.
c. Metode/cara pengerjaan (acuan yang digunakan):Menentukan judul makalah, Membaca literature yang berkaitan dengan judul, memilih
salah satu jenis prose fiction apakah short story, novellete, atau novel.
d. Deskripsi luaran tugas yang dihasilkan: Tugas yang dihasilkan makalah sederhana hasil membaca dan menganalisis prose fiction.
