You have been selected to take part in the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program.
As a participant in RESEA you will:
• Receive specialized individual assistance from reemployment experts at a Michigan Works! Agency.
• Learn about what services, resources and training are available to help you find your next job.
• Develop a customized reemployment plan to meet your goals.
You have until 02-18-2025 to complete Step 1 below. Over 90% of people selected for the Michigan RESEA
program complete the steps on time!

Step 1: Call one of the Michigan Works! Agencies listed below to schedule your RESEA appointment.
Step 2: On the day of your appointment bring the following with you:
• Proof of identification (driver's license or state ID).
• Most recent resume.
• Your list of work search activities for each week you have filed for unemployment benefits.
What to expect at your RESEA appointment
• Get advice from experts about your job search.
• Learn about job fairs and workshops to help you get back to work.
• Receive specifics of looking for work to be successful in your search.
• Explore training options and scholarships to enhance employment opportunities.
• Understand the importance of completing your WORK SEARCH each and every week you are receiving
unemployment benefits.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment for any reason, you must call Michigan Works! Agency
before your scheduled appointment. Failure to complete the RESEA appointment may result in a delay or
denial of your unemployment benefits.

What is the RESEA Program? This program provides unemployed job seekers with an
orientation to local reemployment services, labor market
information, and other helpful resources. At your
appointment, you will also meet with an employment
assistance professional to discuss your recent work search
activity..
Is it possible to be selected for more than one You may be selected for up to two RESEA appointments

fail to attend my rescheduled appointment? benefits. You will receive a fact-finding form by mail or in
MiWAM which will need to be completed and returned to
the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA). The UIA will
decide if your reason for missing your appointment is
acceptable.
