Work
Many parents have trouble taking time off from work to attend meetings, school events, or provide
necessary care at home. This can create stress and an imbalance between work and availability
for their child.

Potential Solutions:

● Parents can ask for evening or weekend meetings in order to make attendance possible.
Meetings can also be done on Zoom or Google Meet if possible.
● Teachers can be flexible and record, meetings, work sessions, or school events so parents
can catch up when it's convenient for them and stay involved.

School Strategies:

● Schools can offer school events at different times (Morning/afternoon/evening) to ensure

parents can participate and support their child without taking time off from work.
● Schools can provide childcare during school meetings or events to make it easier for
parents to attend.
