Phishing
• When you are asked to put your personal information into a website, look up into the URL bar.
• Read all the Email Carefully and Check if the Sender is Original
• Watch the Link Carefully before Clicking
• Always check the URL in the Browser before Signing In to your Account
• Never assume that an email is valid based on the sender’s email address.
• If for example you are supposed to be on [Link] and in the URL bar it says something
completely different like [Link] / [Link] then you know this is a fake.

Shoulder Surfing
• When you type in your password make sure
there is no one behind you attempting to peak.
• If there is, turn around and drop kick him/her in
the face. (No not really!!)
• Also, make sure you don’t keep any sticky notes
laying around that have your password or
password hints on them.

Guessing
• To prevent this attack from happening, never use
a password like
• Birth Date,
• Pets Name,
• Spouse’s Name,
• Mobile Number,
• Car or Bike Number,
• or anything that someone may be able to guess.

Common Password
▪ Try to use a combination of alphabets, numbers and special characters.
▪ Try to use both uppercase and lowercase.
▪ Try to choose a password that is not a word in the dictionary.
▪ Do not use the same password for all your accounts.
▪ The password should not be too short and not be too long.
▪ Keep changing your password and Do not use a password that can easily be guessed.
▪ Do not write down your password and store it near your computer.

• Don't Register For any Social Account Until You're 13 Year Old.
• Set Strong Privacy Settings and review them often.

• Keep an Eye Out For Facebook Scams, Links and Phishing Pages.
• Only accept friend requests from people you know personally.
