My reaction to Michael L. tan’s article impressed me so much because he described how my

fellow Filipinos handle stress. So I am proud of my fellow Filipinos because they are good at
handling stress. The bayanihan or spirit of kinship and camaraderie known to the Filipinos is said
to have been taken from Malay ancestors. The close family relationship is said to have been
inherited from the Chinese. Holiness originated with the Spaniards who introduced Christianity
in the 16th century even though native holiness made it unique to Filipinos who often attended
various expressions of the Christian faith. Here, we know that stress is one of our main enemies
because it can have an effect, one of which is bad depression which can be called a bad effect of
stress for every Filipino but later it can also help our lives because we have learned how to
humandle difficult things like stress, it also helps in other ways because if we can still do things
even when we are stressed I would call it overpower for every Filipino who can handle of stress.
Moreover, HOW do we say we are stressed in Filipino? This question features the article, which
states where and how stress comes from, how it is translated into Filipino. SUCH STRESSORS ARE
NOT GENERAL. For example, there are people next to you who are noisy. What can be said here
is The problem with our resilience is the speed of change of stress in trauma and in acceptance.
Instead of solving problems, we just go ahead or wait for the problem. “
