WI-RY-8 – USER MANUAL
1. Product Overview
Sonetonix WI-RY-8, Relay module
incorporates 8ch relays that can be connected to
control controllable devices. The RELAY
controller can be interfaced Using our Touch
Keypads or Android App to control from
anywhere in the room. Eight channels of Relay
controller can be used in non-dimmable lighting
control, screen control, Water fountain motor
control (up to 0.5Hp motor), Gate/Shutter control
and etc. Maximum of 10A load can be
connected to each channel. As with other Fig 1 WI-RY-8, DIN Rail 8-channel
Sonetonix products, all WI-NET commands are Relay controller module.
available to use and program the Device as per
user needs thus extending its functionality.
1.1 Key Features
8 Channels RELAY Controller, standard type @10A per channel
Power switching
Used in non-dimmable lighting control, screen control (up to 0.5Hp motor) etc..
Each channel handles incandescent loads up to 10 Amps, fluorescent loads up to 5
Amps, and 1/2 HP motor loads
Restores channel status upon power reset
LEDs on the modules indicate communication to a Sonetonix network, input power
to the module, and output power to the load.
Low voltage control interface for each channel
Configurable START time for each channel, allows to set delay to start the switching at
required
Status indication LEDS for each channel
WI-NET Communication, using WI-NET protocol enables the relay Controller to be
connected with other SONETONIX Lighting/ Dimming modules for a complete
Automation Solution
Easy installation with DIN rail mounting

Two Push button switches on the front panel provide two functionalities. One the (1)
CFG PUSH BUTTON SWITCH used to configure and set up the device. (A) WHEN DOUBLE
TAP the CFG PUSH BUTTON SWITCH it will act as a STATION MODE and ACCESS POINT
MODE vice-versa (B) WHEN LONG PRESS the CFG PUSH BUTTON SWITCH for 5 sec it will
erase all data stored in the device. The other one (2) RESET SWITCH used reset the device
1.3 Loads
Two pin detachable terminal blocks on the rear side for each channel to control the
controllable devices. Live In (230VAC Mains @50hz) to be connected on Pin 1 and Live output
to be taken from Pin 2 and connect to Load Live.
1.4 WI-NET
The WI-RY-8 communicates with all Sonetonix products or third party units via WI-NET.
A pair of WI-NET terminal blocks, allow for easy daisy-chaining of several DIN rail Series
automation control modules. 12VDC and Ground should be connected in each WI-NET
terminal.
