dailies. Since the response was huge, the school examined all the application forms
and rejected the candidates who did not have the necessary qualification. Thereafter, a test
was conducted to measure the existing skills of the candidates. After that, it was followed by a
formal in-depth conversation with the Principal of the school and a panel of Maths expert.

Question 10
(i) XYZ Ltd., a well-established manufacturing company, is planning to expand its
production capacity to meet the growing demand for its products. The company needs to
raise funds to finance this expansion. After considering various options, the company
decides to issue debentures to raise the required funds. The debentures will have a face
value of ₹1,000 each, with a coupon rate of 10% per annum. The debentures will be
redeemed after 5 years. In relation to this case describe any five kinds of Debentures. [5]
(ii) State any three objectives of Publicity. [3]

(i) Discuss any five points that highlight the components of the Macro environment [5]
(ii) Identify and explain the element of Marketing Mix which makes the goods available
from the manufacturer to consumer. [3]

Read the case given below and answer the questions that follow.
Mrs. Mathur sent a jacket to a laundry shop in January, 2024. The jacket was purchased at a
price of Rs 4,500. She had previously sent the jacket for dry cleaning with Shine Dry Cleaners
and the jacket was cleaned well. However, she noticed that her jacket had white discoloration
marks when she collected the jacket this time. On informing the dry cleaner, Mrs. Mathur
received a letter confirming that discoloration indeed appeared after the jacket was dry cleaned.
She contacted the dry cleaner multiple times and requested for compensation for discoloured
jacket but to no avail. Upon consumer courts intervention, Shine Dry Cleaners agreed to
compensate Rs.2,500 to Mrs Mathur for the discoloured jacket
