DISCIPLINARY RULES FOR BLOOMING HERITAGE

SECONDARY SCHOOL
1. Code of conduct: All students are expected to abide by a code of conduct
that promotes respect, responsibility and integrity. Violations of the code
may result in disciplinary action.
Punishment: disciplinary action based on the severity of the offense, which
may include warnings, detentions or suspension.
2. Attendance: Regular attendance is mandatory for all students. Excessive
lateness or unauthorized absences may result in disciplinary consequences.
Punishment: warnings, detentions, loss of privileges, or parent or guardians
informed. Persistent or severe cases may lead to further disciplinary
measures.
3. Uniform and Dress code: Students must adhere to the school’s uniform and
dress code policy. Failure to comply may lead to disciplinary measures.
Punishment: Verbal warning, detention, temporary exclusion from class
until corrected, or parent guardian informed.
4. Respect for others: Students must treat their peers and teachers well;
bullying, harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behaviour will not be
tolerated.
Punishment: verbal/written warning, detention, counselling, parental
involvement, suspension, or referral to external agencies in severe cases.
5. Academic integrity: cheating, plagiarism, or any form of dishonesty in
academic work is strictly prohibited. Violators may face disciplinary
consequences, such as academic penalties or loss of privileges.
Punishment: zero marks for the assignment, resubmission with a minimum
grade cap, parental involvement, or disciplinary measures as per school

6. Use of Technology: responsible and appropriate use of technology is
expected. Unauthorized use of electronic devices, accessing inappropriate
content, or engaging in cyberbullying are subject to disciplinary action.

9. Safety and Security: Students are responsible for maintaining a safe and
