Arts/Entertainment/Sports: the enemy on the mountain is the Hivites (represent
compromise). The principality over it is Jezebel (seduction). The basic mission is to
model the greater creative arts of God and prophesy through them. The revelation key
is glory.
Prayer for Art/Entertainment/Sports
Lord and Savior, we bring before You the Arts, Entertainment, and Sporting world.
Thank You, Father, for the amazing creativity and talent that You place inside of certain
people. We pray for the salvation of these special artists, athletes, and entertainers.
Call them to use their special gifts and talents to bring glory to Your name. Strengthen
them in humility and purity. Keep them from pride and the temptation of unfair
advantage. Show them how their endeavors influence and speak to the human heart.
Cause them to understand their responsibility with how they influence and how they set
standards for many.
You are the reason that we make music, sketch our world, dramatize its reality, and run
the race. You alone place skills and gifts within us. We agree with Apostle Peter’s
words, “May each one of us use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully
administering God’s grace in its various forms, so that in all things God may be praised
through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power forever and ever Amen” (1
Peter 4:10-11).
Lord, may we never be guilty of hiding these talents in the ground because of fear of
man. In Matthew 25, You said to take the talent from him who hid it and give it to the
one who has the ten talents. May we guard the gifts that You have blessed us with and
use them to the fullest degree as Your word says in 2 Timothy 1:6-7, “For this reason I
remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of
my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and
of self-discipline.”
We lift up the creativity of those who write. Let their words find inspiration in You. Let
their works be filled with joy and godly passion. Father, pour out Your inspirations from
heaven into Your singers, poets, authors and dancers. We pray for pure sounds from
Your throne room to be released in the earth.
You are love. Artists sing songs about love. We pray for artists who will write songs of
Your love. For all those who bring us joy and pleasure through their artistry we thank
You. We pray for Christ like influence to take over the Mountain of Arts, Entertainment
and Sports and we pray in the name of Christ Jesus – Amen!
Olympics addendum: Almighty Father God, I thank you for giving certain
people physical abilities in the area of various sport events. I especially pray for the
born again Christian athletes training for the Summer and Winter Olympics. May they
keep the balance of spiritual and physical conditioning for it is written: I Tim. 4:8 For
physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is
useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present
life and also for the life which is to come. Holy Spirit hover and cover them with Your
Truth and guidance. May they feel Your Glory as they exercise their talents and
strengthen their focus intense training; body, soul, and spirit. Encourage them Holy
Spirit when they want to give up or take a short cut. May You raise up more "Tim
Teboes" who use their sport attraction as a platform for Your Glory and Honor. Open
doors that no man can shut and close doors that only You can shut. May the open
doors give them opportunity to be Your voice and may the closed doors be their
protection. Let there be thousands of salvations in the Olympic camps from all
countries this year. In Jesus Name, amen.
