ABBREVIATIONS
MR – magic ring
ch – chain
Rnd(s) – round(s)
sc – single crochet
sc2tog – single crochet 2 together (decrease)
sl st – slip stitch
st – stitch
*repeat as many times as it’s said in the instruction

MATERIALS:
Crochet hook – 1.00 mm
Cotton yarn – 280 meters, 50 gram
A sewing needle – 1 item
Embroidery threads: black and pink colours
Brooch locking bar pin – 1 item
Toy stuffing
Jewellery wire – 7-8 centimeters
Floristic tape
LEVEL: easy

HEAD
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR. Join MR with a sl st. Put a marker.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around = 12 sc
Rnd 3: (1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st)*6 times = 18 sc
Rnd 4: (1 sc in next 2st, 2 sc in next st)*6 times = 24 sc
Rnds 5 and 6: 1 sc in each st around = 24 sc
Rnd 7: (1 sc in next 3 st, 2 sc in next st)*6 times = 30 sc
Rnds 8-12: 1 sc in each st around = 30 sc
Rnd 13: (1 sc in next 3 st, sc2tog)*6 times = 24 sc
Rnd 14: (1 sc in next 2 st, sc2tog)*6 times = 18 sc
Stuff the head.
Rnd 15: (1 sc in next 1 st, sc2tog)*6 times = 12 sc
Rnd 16: sc2tog*6 times = 6 sc
Cut the yarn. Weave the end.
FACE EMROIDERY
Embroider the cat’s face and attach whiskers.

EARS – make 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR. Join with a sl st. Put a marker.
Rnd 2: 1 sc in each st = 6 sc
Rnd 3: (1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st)*3 times = 9 sc
Rnd 4: (1 sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next st)*3 times = 12 sc. Sew ears to the head.
LEGS – make 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR. Join with a sl st. Put a marker.
Rnd 2: (1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st)*3 times = 9 sc
Rnd 3: (1 sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next st)*3 times = 12 sc.
Join legs. Through the working loop on your hook pull the loop of another leg. Tighten the loops. Put
a marker.

Rnds 4-5: 1 sc in each st around = 24 sc


There is a little hole between legs, so you need to sew it.

Rnd 6: sc2tog, 1 sc in next 9 st, sc2tog*2 times, 1 sc in next 7 st, sc2tog = 20 sc


Rnd 7: 1 sc in each st around = 20 sc
Rnd 8: 1 sc in next 4 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 14 st = 19 sc
Rnd 9: 1 sc in next 4 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 13 st = 18 sc
Rnd 10: 1 sc in next 4 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 12 st = 17 sc
Stuff legs.

Rnd 11: 1 sc in next 4 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 11 st = 16 sc


Rnd 12: 1 sc in each st around = 16 sc
Rnd 13: 1 sc in next 3 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 6 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 3 st = 14 sc
Rnd 14: 1 sc in each st around = 14 sc
Rnd 15: 1 sc in next 3 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 5 st, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 2st = 12 sc
Rnd 16: 1 sc in each st around
Rnd 17: (1 sc in next 2 st, sc2tog)*3 times = 9 sc
Stuff the body. Cut off the yarn. Sew the head to the body.
TAIL
Take about 7-8 sm of jewellery wire and wrap it with a floristic tape.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR. Join with a sl st. Put a marker.
Rnds 2-37: 1 sc in each st = 6 sc
You can crochet more or less rounds, it depends if you want a longer or shorter tail.

Find the third round of the left leg and sew a tail to it. Then go two-three rounds up and fix a tail
there. Give a desired shape to the tail.

Sew a brooch locking bar pin to the cat’s head.
