Stock Migration

Use
You can use this function to migrate stock data from LE-WM into SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

To use migration from LE-WM, you must activate the business function EWM, Usability and Implementation 1 (
SCM_EWM_USAB_IMPL_1).

Prerequisites

You have defined all the storage bins for which you want to transfer the stocks from LE-WM to EWM.

There are no open documents (for example, inbound delivery, outbound delivery, and so on).

You have created the handling unit types in EWM that also exist in ERP.

You have transferred the packaging materials that exist in ERP to EWM.

You have mapped the storage unit types to packaging materials (see Map Storage Unit Type to Packaging Material).

You have run the storage bin migration function and created all the necessary bins in EWM. For more information, see
Storage Bin Migration.

You have run the warehouse product migration function for all products that exist in the stock being migrated. For more
information, see Warehouse Product Migration.
