Helping new team members fit in is important.
Teams grow over time and need clear rules about
how they work together.

proposed enterprise, what follows next would be
the development of the team.

management team would have to include, other

The organizational chart
Manpower requirements

Team Members
Manpower requirements and ensuing roles and
responsibilities must be identified to avoid confusion,
inefficiency, and redundancy of functions. Such descriptions
for each position, qualifications required for each position,
and the corresponding compensation must be clarified for the
team members in an enterprise to effectively perform their
roles and carry out their responsibilities. 04

with written organizational policies. These would have to

entrepreneur to understand the four functional tasks:

Human Resource Management


Production and Service Management
Marketing Management
Financial Management

Human Resource Management - team roles and responsibilities, expectations and
compensation and benefits, offenses and sanctions

Production and Service Management - produce goods, deliver services, provide the
experience, schedule, dispatch, delivery, process flow, acquire input, efficient production, and
process flow, set up of channels of distribution, ensure quality standards.

Marketing Management - getting orders, getting requirements for service, negotiations,


follow-ups, after service care, after order warranty, follow-ups, recording and monitoring,
communication with market current and potential, promotions and market research.

Financial Management - having adequate cash for operations, funding for development,
investments, profitability, budgeting, acceptable ratios, risk management, and Sustainability.

In enterprise management, there has to be a
converging point for all functions to ensure overall
cohesion, harmony, efficiency, and effectivity.
Cooperative efforts must be present so that as
strategies are made and activities are enumerated
and implemented, monitoring is ensured and
corrective actions are devised when deviations from
the plans are identified.
