1. Extricate: to remove something or set something free with difficulty.

Example: She tried to extricate herself from the tangled ropes.

2. Hurried: moving or working rapidly, especially forced or required to


hurry, as a person.
Example: He hurried to catch the last train of the night.

3. Mournfully: in a very sad way.


Example: She gazed mournfully at the empty chair where her father used to sit.
4. Niggling: worrying someone slightly or causing them slightly pain usually
for a log time.

5. Strenuous: needing or using a lot of physical or mental effort or energy.
