Strategies of Midwifery Students in High-Pressure Clinical Learning Environments.' This

- We conducted this study to explores the coping strategies used by

- The importance of this study is to improve midwifery students' educational

- The general question was formulated to explore the challenges of midwifery

influence their coping strategies. It focuses on understanding the difficulties
of students encounter, such as stress and time management, and how these
experiences shape their responses. This approach helps identify effective
coping mechanisms and provides insight into improving students' well-being
and performance in clinical practice.

- Based on my experience, midwifery students face challenges like balancing

- Self Determination Theory is significant in the study as it explains how


motivations and aspirations influence midwifery students' ability to cope

• Limited research specifically focusing on midwifery students' unique coping


strategies compared to nursing students (Trace et al., 2017).

•Lack of understanding of stressors in clinical learning environments specific


to midwifery students (Huber et al., 2024).

- The research gap exists due to limited focus on midwifery students' coping
strategies and stressors, with most studies concentrating on nursing
students, and a lack of understanding on how motivations and aspirations
influence their coping mechanisms.
12. Who will be your respondents?

- Participants of this study will be Fourth-Year Midwifery Students who have


experienced high-pressure clinical environments and are willing to voluntarily
participate.

13. Why fourth year Midwifery Students?

- Fourth-year midwifery students were chosen because their experience in


clinical training helps provide insights into how they cope with high-pressure
situations.
