Brothers and sisters: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual
blessing in the heavens, as he chose us in him, before the
foundation of the world, to be holy and without blemish before
him. In love he destined us for adoption to himself through Jesus
Christ, in accord with the favor of his will, for the praise of the
glory of his grace that he granted us in the beloved. In him we
were also chosen, destined in accord with the purpose of the One
who accomplishes all things according to the intention of his will,
so that we might exist for the praise of his glory, we who first
hoped in Christ.

GOSPEL Jn 2:1-
11
The angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called
Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the
house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary. And coming to
her, he said, "Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you." But she
was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of
greeting this might be. Then the angel said to her, "Do not be
afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you
will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name
him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most
High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his
father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his
Kingdom there will be no end." But Mary said to the angel, "How
can this be, since I have no relations with a man?" And the angel
said to her in reply, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the
power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child
to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold,
Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age,
and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for
nothing will be impossible for God." Mary said, "Behold, I am the
handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your
word." Then the angel departed from her.
The Deacon, or the Priest:
The Gospel of the Lord
All:
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ
Then he takes the book to the Bishop, who kisses it, saying quietly:
Through the words of the Gospel
may our sins be wiped away.
He may then bless the people with the book. Then he will proceed to
the Ambo, wearing his mitre to give the Homily. He will then go to the
altar and proceed to the Profession of Faith.

SANCTUS
EUCHARISTIC PRAYER III
The Faithful will kneel until the Great Amen, Meanwhile, Bishop
Dimasupil will say with hands extended
Bishop Zamora:
You are indeed Holy, O Lord, and all you have created rightly
gives you praise, for through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, by
the power and working of the Holy Spirit, you give life to all
things and make them holy, and you never cease to gather a
people to yourself, so that from the rising of the sun to its setting
a pure sacrifice may be offered to your name.
Then Bishop Zamora will join his hands, extending it to the
Offerings, saying
Bishop Dimasupil:
Therefore, O Lord, we humbly implore you: by the same Spirit
graciously make holy these gifts we have brought to you for
consecration,
Bishop Sagum will join his hands once again, then makes a sign
of the cross to the bread and wine, then join hands, saying
that they may become the Body and ✠ Blood
Bishop Dimasupil:
of your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, at whose command we
celebrate these mysteries.
In the formulas that follow, the words of the Lord should be
pronounced clearly and distinctly, as the nature of these words
requires
Bishop Dimasupil:
For on the night he was betrayed
He takes the bread and, holding it slightly raised above the altar,
continues:
Bishop Dimasupil:
he himself took bread, and, giving you thanks, he said the
blessing, broke the bread and gave it to his disciples, saying:
He bows slightly.
Bishop Dimasupil:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS
MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.
He shows the consecrated host to the people, places it again on
the paten, and genuflects in adoration. After this, he continues
Bishop Zamora:
In a similar way, when supper was ended,
He takes the chalice and, holding it slightly raised above the
altar, continues:
Bishop Zamora:
he took the chalice, and giving you thanks, he said the blessing,
and gave the chalice to his disciples, saying:
He bows slightly.
Bishop Zamora:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR
THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF
THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL
BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE
FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
He shows the chalice to the people, places it on the corporal, and
genuflects in adoration. Then he says:
Bishop Zamora:
Mysterium Fidei
The faithful will continue, chanting the acclamation. The Bishop,
with hands extended, says:
Bishop Zamora:
Therefore, O Lord, as we celebrate the memorial of the saving
Passion of your Son, his wondrous Resurrection and Ascension
into heaven, and as we look forward to his second coming, we
offer you in thanksgiving this holy and living sacrifice.
Look, we pray, upon the oblation of your Church and,
recognizing the sacrificial Victim by whose death you willed to
reconcile us to yourself, grant that we, who are nourished by the
Body and Blood of your Son may become one body, one spirit in
Christ.
Concelebrant 1:
May he make of us an eternal offering to you, so that we may
obtain an inheritance with your elect, especially with the most
Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, the Most Holy Theotokos,
with blessed Joseph, her Spouse, with your blessed Apostles Peter
and Paul, and all Apostles, with glorious Martyrs and with all the
Saints, on whose constant intercession in your presence we rely
for unfailing help.
Concelebrant 2:
May this Sacrifice of our reconciliation, we pray, O Lord,
advance the peace and salvation of all the world. Be pleased to
confirm in faith and charity your pilgrim Church on earth, with
your servant FRANCIS, our Pope, DANILO our Bishop,
ANTONIO his representative in this platform, and with the Order
of Bishops, all the clergy, and the entire people you have gained
for your own.
Listen graciously to the prayers of this family, whom you have
summoned before you:
Concelebrant 3:
To our departed brothers and sisters and to all who were pleasing
to you at their passing from this life, give kind admittance to your
kingdom. There we hope to enjoy forever the fullness of your
glory, through Christ our Lord, through whom you bestow on the
world all that is good.
Bishop Zamora:
Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty
Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is
yours, for ever and ever.
COMMUNION PRAYER
After the chalice and paten have been set down, Bishop
Dimasupil, with hands joined, says:
Bishop Dimasupil:
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare
to say:
He extends his hands and, together with the people, will sing the
Pater Noster. With hands extended, Cardinal Montevidad alone
continues, saying
Bishop Dimasupil:
Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace
in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always
free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed
hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
He joins his hands. The people conclude the prayer by singing the
acclamation Then Bishop Dimasupil, with hands extended, says
aloud
Bishop Dimasupil:
Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles: Peace I leave you,
my peace I give you; look not on our sins, but on the faith of your
Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance
with your will. Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.
All:
Amen
Bishop Dimasupil extending and then joining his hands, adds
Bishop Dimasupil:
The peace of the Lord be with you always.
All:
And with your spirit
Then, if appropriate, the Deacon, or the Priest, adds:
The Deacon, or the Priest:
Let us offer the sign of Peace.
And all offer one another a sign, in keeping with local customs,
that expresses peace, communion, and charity. The Agnus Dei
will be sung while Bishop Dimasupil mingles a small piece of the
Sacred Body of Christ to the Precious Blood. He then will
genuflects, takes the host and, holding it slightly raised above the
paten or above the chalice, while facing the people, says aloud:
Bishop Dimasupil:
Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of
the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
All:
Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
Bishop Dimasupil will consume the body and blood of Christ
reverently. After he consumes, he will give Holy Communion to
the deacon who will distribute the Communion, kneeling. All
faithful will receive the Holy Communion, kneeling and by
tongue. The deacon will distribute the Communion and purify the
sacred vessels.
