The Disappearance of a Deceptive Friend
Our friend has disappeared. We have been looking for him day and night, searching frantically in places where
he is likely to be found. He is nowhere to be seen. Even his sister does not know where he is. He just ran off
like that, vanished like thin air. We are not surprised as a matter of fact. He has been feeding us with fat lies
and the time of reckoning has come. We all believe so.
Since the day we made friendship with him, he has been taking us for a swim, to a cafe, or other recreation
areas and makes us pay the expense. He thought that we were foolish for being friends with him. He has been
taking our respect and loyalty for granted. He has never fulfilled any of his friendship promises. Naturally, we
got fed up with him. At first, we have protested against him verbally, but he has refused to hear us. So we have
left him alone. Now, he has disappeared for good. I think he might have psychological problem we were not
aware of. Frantically, ran off, vanished, reckoning, fed up, protested
