1. Preparatory

2. Building Inspection
• Conduct detailed inspections of the existing building,
focusing on both structural and architectural components.
• Identify structural issues, defects, or maintenance
requirements, including signs of deterioration in materials
such as concrete and steel.
• Perform condition assessments to evaluate the overall state of
the building and document findings with photographs.

3. Building Survey
• Carry out surveying work to determine the accurate size and
dimensions of the building structure.
• Measure and document both Reinforced Concrete (RC) and Steel
Structure elements.
o Prepare structural drawings, including Plans, elevations,
o structural detailing, accurate measurements of beams,
columns, slabs.

4. Building Integrity Testing (Optional – number of sample subject to


specialist recommendation based on building inspection result)
• Conduct necessary tests to determine the structural integrity of the
building (e.g., non-destructive testing, core testing, load testing,
etc.).
• Analyse results to evaluate the safety and functionality of the
structure.
• Provide a professional report endorsed by qualified personnel to
confirm building integrity.

5. Preparation of Plans and Reports


• Prepare structural plans and site plans complete with endorsement
(to submit draft plans for confirmation before final printing)
showing:
o Building location and orientation.
o Structural layouts with dimensions and annotations. Proper
scaling and formatting
• Generate detailed reports (to submit draft reports for confirmation
before final printing) covering:
o Findings from the building inspection.
o Results of integrity tests. (optional)
o Photographic evidence of building conditions.
o Observations and recommendations for repairs,
maintenance, or upgrades.

6. Deliverables
I. Plans:
• Three (3) copies of endorsed structural plans, including:

o Floor plans, elevations, and structural dimensions.
• One (1) softcopy of structural and site plans in AutoCAD format.
II. Reports:
• Three (3) copies of endorsed reports, including:
o Building inspection findings.

o Recommendations and conclusions.
• One (1) softcopy of the reports in digital format.
III. Site Photographs:
• Digital soft copies of all site photographs taken during inspection.
• Supplied on a CD or equivalent digital storage medium.
