Good [morning/ a ernoon], everyone!
I Pushp Raj today here on the behalf of 3rd year student want to share my thoughts on this
amazing college life.
Respected Principal, Prof. Arun Kumar A ree, dear TIC Shikha Gupta Ma’am, our wonderful
professors, and my dear friends, I’m so happy to speak to you today. As a third-year Commerce
student and class representa ve of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, I feel proud to share what
makes our college special. Today, I want to talk about our amazing infrastructure, our inspiring
Principal Sir, our caring Teacher-in-Charge Ma’am, and the professors who teach us with so
much love and dedica on.
First, let’s talk about our college’s infrastructure. Our campus is beau ful and has everything
we need to grow. The library is like a treasure chest, with thousands of books, journals, and
newspapers. It’s all online too, so we can find what we need quickly, whether it’s for accounts,
economics, or any other book related to the govt exam prepara on on like UPSC & SSC etc. We
have five computer labs with fast computers and Wi-Fi, which help us with projects,
presenta ons, and even learning so ware for Commerce. The classrooms are big, and we have
seminar halls for events and guest lectures.
Our sports ground is in construc on phase and I hope it’ll be ready soon so that we can play
cricket, football, basketball, and more. It’s a great place to have fun and stay fit. The canteen is
my favourite spot—tasty, affordable food and a place to chill with friends. The gardens are
green and peaceful, perfect for relaxing between classes. Plus, the college is super safe with
lots of CCTV cameras. We also have cool online tools like SAKSHAM Portal to track our
a endance and Gyan Prasaar Kendra for learning any me. This infrastructure makes studying
and enjoying college life so easy!
Now, let me talk about our Principal, Prof. Arun Kumar A ree. Sir, you are a true leader.
Because of you, our college has an ‘A’ grade from NAAC, which shows how great SBSC is. You
started Gyan Prasaar Kendra, which helps us learn online easily. You make sure our campus is
modern and safe, with the best facili es. Sir, you always encourage us to dream big and work
hard. Your support makes us feel confident to face the world. We’re so lucky to have you as our
Principal!
Next, our Teacher-in-Charge Ma’am. Ma’am, you are like a guide and friend to us in the
Commerce department. You make learning so interes ng with your examples. You listen to us,
help us with doubts, and cheer us on during fests. Your care makes our department feel like a
family. Thank you for always being there for us!
And how can I forget our professors who teach us? Each one of you is so special but I would
like to deliver a special thank to Prof. Vijay Vrat Arya & Prof. Amol Nerkar. You make Commerce
fun and easy to understand. From teaching us balance sheets to explaining market trends, you
use real-life stories that s ck with us. You stay a er class to clear our doubts and push us to do
be er. Your hard work helps us score well and prepares us for jobs and exams. You inspire us to
be be er students and be er people. From the bo om of our hearts, thank you for
everything!
As a Commerce student, I’ve seen how our college’s infrastructure, Principal Sir, Teacher-in-
Charge Ma’am, and professors work together to make SBSC a place where we learn, grow, and
make memories. This college is our second home, and it’s shaping us to achieve our dreams,
just like Shaheed Bhagat Singh fought for a be er India.
To my friends, let’s make the most of this amazing college. Use the library, join sports, take part
in fests, and learn from our teachers. Together, let’s make our college proud!
