Historical Perspectives of SPVASVC, SBBUVAS, Sakrand

SINO-PAK Veterinary Animal Science and Vocational College, SBBUVAS, The college currently offers a three-year Veterinary Nurse / Stock Assistant Degree
Sakrand, was established as a collaborative effort between Shaheed Benazir Program, designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in veterinary

The initial discussions between the authorities of both institutions took place
around August 2023. Representing SBBUVAS were Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr.
Muhammad Farooque Hassan Matti, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Zahid Iqbal
Rajput, and Dr. Hidayatullah Soomro (Principal and Founder of SPVASVC),

The formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of


the SPVASVC was signed on November 18, 2023. This momentous event
took place during the International Poultry Healthy Breeding and Disease
Prevention and Control Seminar held in Weifang, Shandong, China. The MoU
was signed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooque Hassan Matti on behalf of
SBBUVAS and Director Li Xiotai on behalf of SVASVC.

Since its inception, SINO-PAK Veterinary Animal Science and Vocational


College has been dedicated to providing high-quality education, research
opportunities, and skill-based training in veterinary and animal sciences. The
collaboration aims to foster academic excellence, technological
advancements, and professional development, benefiting students and the
veterinary sector at large.
Location of SPVASVC,SBBUVAS
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is situated in Sakrand taluka of District Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, about 18 kms west
of Nawabshah city and is at 15 minutes drive from Nawabshah airport. It is 270 kms from Karachi and 100 kms from Hyderabad in the north. Sakrand can be
accessed by national highway N5. Sakrand is hub of agriculture and livestock production and has a number of agricultural research and training institutes.
